so Honda is coming back to sports car again! Front side looks like a Nissan 400z, rear side profile it looks like the Infinity G37 and the rear is very much like Mitsubishi Eclipse with a touch of Porsche Taycan rear light bar. I think is about time for Honda to come back with a decent sports car, let’s hope they release it.
I feel like all my friends had a Prelude back in high school while I had an RSX. Back end looks brilliant! I think I agree with you guys on what the powerplant may be but definitely excited for this one! Appreciate the look!
I felt this way when the 10th Gen Honda Civic Coupe was first announced in that lime Green! I got one fully loaded the first year they released...looks like Ill be trading my 1st love for this new Beauty!!! Cant wait for official specs! 1st time on this channel...Great Review!!
I always loved the Prelude. I owned a 1980 Prelude, a 1988 Prelude Si 4WS and a 1994 Prelude VTEC. I would highly consider this Prelude if Honda doesn’t wimp out on it and offer an under performing power train. Please Honda, I’m begging. Give it at LEAST 240hp!!
Ive had 3 preludes. I absolutely love the wide body 2nd gen with the futuristic dash. Two 92's and a 93. They come back with a new 2025 this will be the first brand new car Ill buy. Hopefully they come out soon and don't disappoint on the interior! Hopefully they change their minds on the ev.
I LOVED my 89 prelude si with 4ws! My favorite car! The back end is the most reminiscent part on this new model ❤ I'm not crazy about the hybrid model...
God I hope this thing is real. And if it's real, I hope it's positioned to compete with the likes of the BR-Z/86. An affordable coupe from Honda would be fantastic. I'm also interested in the hybrid drive train. I think hybrid tech is criminally under-utilized in the consumer market, but hopefully the hybridization doesn't make the car super expensive.
Please Honda bring back the manual for this legend. Also, how about the dash throwback design cues to the fourth gen prelude with the digital long wrap dash and gauges.
Thank you Car Confessions. You have to wonder if Honda could make any money on these with the popularity of crossovers, suv's, and the like. It seems 2 door sporty sedans won't sell well.
i always drove the Prelude and started with the 78 model till the last one, the best one i had was the 91 EX long hood, just loved it, but as soon as they stopped the sleeping lights, it was done for me didn't look good anymore
If it has Honda's excellent manual. LSD trick front suspension. A type r version maybe with eawd and hybrid plus he 2.0 turbo will be great. Don't be afraid of a great exhaust and tips.
Any word on a 2025 Element? If so, please share any information as I am waiting for it to come back. I owned a 2008 for so many years and still regret selling it and I can't wait to buy a new iteration of one hopefully in the next year or two.
I hate those flush door handles. They make it more difficult and clumsy to open a door, and they aren’t reliable. Honda already has very convenient and simple handles, just improve on those and leave a mechanism created for expensive sports cars in the ‘50s to people who think complicated inconvenience is entertaining. This is just a fashion thing.
Glad to see it returning to the road. Unfortunately it looks more like a Toyota Prius and Nissan Z got together and had a baby more than anything from Honda though.
This looks like a modified Acura Integra badge engineered as a Honda Prelude....which is based on the Civic platform. That front blue accent lighting probably wont make it past concept.
Quite being pretentious with your whole “badge engineering” claim, because if isn’t true. Badge engineering is simply passing off the same exact car under a new moniker. Whereas here, this prelude isn’t comparable at all to anything Honda/Acura is currently selling.
First of I am a Honda/Acura fan boy. I have owned many, including 4 S2000s, several Accords, Civics, TLs, and an RDX. But this Prelude doesn’t have me running to the dealership to inquire about it. It looks like the new Prius in the front, which is a good thing, but doesn’t illicit the passion in me required for this car to succeed, at least in my opinion. I am sure it is “Honda competent” but my initial reaction is … meh. Maybe when I see one in person that will change.
That trunk opening looks rather pathetic. I'd love to see this offered as a hatch to make it more usable. Count me among those who'd like a 6 or 7 speed manual trans. Please don't make this a CVT for heaven's sake!
That tiny car can’t fit a large and in charge chocolate queen like myself! No way all my wiggle, jiggle and everything in the middle gonna get inside that little thing! Just buy me a Bimmer or Benz boo!!!!
It looks like what it's price point will be! IMHO the BRZ/86 look better and are RWD... Hopefully Honda build as sport cars are quickly becoming extinct!!!
Ah, Honda! They're known for their reliable and efficient cars, just like Nissan. Honda has a great lineup of vehicles, from the sporty Civic to the versatile CR-V and the stylish Accord. If there's a specific Honda model or feature you're interested in, let me know and I'll do my best to give you more information! 🚗😄
The quick answer in NO. As it is usual with honda, this car will be late to the party, overengineered, undepowered, overpriced, full of recalls, with outdated technology, and horrible resale values. Don't get your hopes up!
Not possible honda will produce and can look at asia market honda produce all below average model or low end car.without power at all on road the car look cheap car

@cabbagehead8082 Gotcha! That's why we have Acura :) The new Prelude is gonna rock tho. It won't be nearly as exciting as say a Honda S2K, but we could actually now get a NEW S2K, and I think you'll agree, those were certainly Legendary 😀

Hate to be that guy but have you seen the pricing on the integra Type S?
I agree. No EVs
@@KEVIN88GT the integra type s is the most expensive trim of the civics luxury equivalent, not at all comparable.
@@yimpyoi9808 you missed the point. It's not even competitive pricing in its segment hence the prelude won't be a value peoposion or even a good deal.

NO EV's. NO CVT's.
Is this vehicle has the junkies 1.5 earthdream turbo charge oil dilution engine
What that mean?
Yes and yes, if honda develops a good software to refine driving feelings, like hyundai did with ioniq 5n
Build and bring it to market as is.
Fantastica 👍👍👏👏🙏
Can't wait to see what mods these guys gonna do on this beauty....lol

The Prius coupe

look like a 10th civic coupe !
not exactly.
That’s looking like it’s going to be expensive
All US sources say $31-$38k
If this is real... then I will wait another year and buy this car. I was going for the corolla, but maybe I should wait and buy this one instead
It reminds me of a Datsun
Ahhh...Datsun, i remember that car!

Bro Honda civic hybrid coming or not?
Confirmed now for 2025 model year
Truly the 2 door Prius
Um, the LEGEND returns? I hope so.
Without a standard moonroof, this will never be a real Prelude!
Hatcbk lease over april 26’ - NEXT!!
A stunning vehicle that nobody's been asking for. IMHO this is a stupid decision by HMC.
2 motors means what... AWD?
2 hybrid electric motors to accompany the gas motor
The 2025 Prelude would have been nicer as a 4 door sedan rather than a coupe.
I know!
Still the old prelude look nice
This one looks like porche
If its an EV, no thanks
Its a hybrid. It will still have an ICE engine.
So Honda is building a Audi TT
No guarantee this will ever come to usa.

That don’t look like a Prius at all.. 💀🤣🤣
The rear is very Porsche.

Just release a gas car, with manual transmission, with same design.
Why does just EVs have to be modern?
It’s not an EV
Hey Honda, why not make it a powerful EV? I will definitely buy it if it is electrified.
V6,otherwise no.
Not interested in hybrids
bye then?

Very PS5 lol
Honda copied the Nissan Z... a little too hard. Shame.
