If Michael (Victor) and George (Benji) don't have a singing scene together in season 3 i'm gonna riot. They both have really good voices and it's a shame they have separated singing scene in the show (Benji with his bands and Victor with Rahim)
@@johnjimenez8642 which won't happen, because: 1. Victor and Benji have so much history and chemistry together, he and Rahim just met. He won't throw his relationship with Benji out the window just to run to a new guy 2. Even if he chose Rahim, he still need to apologize to Benji first. They need to work things out. That's why he will go to Benji house and they will have a long conversation and decide things themselves.
What I love about this song is its creative use of dualism and the concept of endless cycles through mention of the addiction of love. The use of the black and white film in this music video also emphasizes the struggle between the good and the bad, as seen portrayed through Michael’s reminiscing of his lover while, at the same time, fighting a battle within himself due to his love addiction. This type of codependency Michael struggles is further demonstrated in the scene @0:55 with the two lit candles next time him. To me, they represent himself and his lover together and he can not let go of the fiery compassion and love they have for one another. I also thought it was interesting @2:30 how Michael seems to pass himself literally on the stairwell as he heads to his room, which introduces that concept of a sort of endless loop occurring within his life. Afterwards, once in his room, he sets the vase of flowers, the same ones that were seen broken in the beginning of the music video, and begin to play a record which spins and spins, playing the song he sings throughout the video. I find it interesting that the record he plays is very floppy in form, which seems to me to be a representation of his love life and how rough it is due to his love addiction. Finally, we see that the vase of flowers falls to the ground, beginning the same loop of love he must live through once again. I may have gone too in depth in this music video, but I would love to hear anybody else’s thoughts and interpretations on the music video and lyrics!
