Top 5 Spots for new fly fisher - South Island of New Zealand

Get a decent set of gears ($200 - 300), and go find a place where there's shallow riffles with minimal obstacle.

Great video mate! Are the rivers/estuaries you named nearish Dunedin okay fishing at this time of year?

The estuary is tidal and best time to fish it is early season , sometimes you get Kahawai coming in smashing whitebait & mullet
