    Lemming, great commentary. That is the one thing I like to hear from commentators on replays, rather than talking about the tank's stats at the start you talk about the first play already, keep doing commentary on replays like this and I think you're good. One thing is to maybe mention the player's name a bit more since that is usually a reward that people sending replays want, mentioning that they achieved it.

    Great commentary. Too often, vids are on epic carries where luck and timing are often as present as skill. Reviews which emphasize strategic and tactical soundness, that educate the player-base on how to be not only a better player but better teammate, are a real contribution. This vid does that, as do most of your own replays and map/tactic guides. Great job Lemming - keep it up!

    I like that you explained how you can carry even if you die. So many replays are, as you said, "epic" carries that aren't what you can consistently expect. I think this is much more realistic and achievable. Thanks, and welcome home.

    Objective analysis of pivotal players who contribute toward a tactical advantage while yielding a good personal result is a good thing. Many vloggers do it, and to be honest, it is cool to watch and hear their perspective of the engagement as it develops. I like that you keep the mini-map and position of the team mostly front and center as a key component. I personally have learned a lot watching your videos, insomuch as being aware of 'where' I can do the most good for the team, and not just tunneling the fight in front of me while the rest of the team burns. That being said, please do continue to post these breakdowns as learning examples. I especially like the way you section the game into beginning, middle and end like a chess match. Open by the book, play the mid like a wizard and the end like a machine sorta thing. Would love to see you focus some videos toward each section of game play in particular. OK, long comment here. So thanks for the insights.

    I much prefer these videos to epic carries, because as a newer player trying to learn the various tanks, this is information I can use and learn from more easily.
    While there are usually nuggets of good stuff in epic carries, it's not always you can use that in another situation. Many of those carries are also a combination of blind luck with the right combination of friends and enemies and the right timing to get. A different position and it might not have been. It seems very few epic games are solely the process of the player creating those situations.
    But compare the following two, how many games are won by just being able to do enough compared to epic carries.... I sure as hell know I loose more games to not being able to do enough in time with fairly small margins compared to failing to carry. Just learning to do a little bit more each time you play seems to work fine and tilt the balance more and more in my own favor.
    And I see the same thing when spectating other players all the time. One heavy, often the more lightly quicker ones that are just a bit too passive, and refuse to trade HP for a friendly HT survival and then suddenly enemy has 2v1 or even 3v1 and all those hit points doesn't really matter since he will now be forced to trade with a much worse ratio if he don't have the armor.

    Nice to see, I won a kolo metal for holding off 8 Tanks in my T29 as time ran out defending hull down against tier 9 and 8 , I thought I was going to get smashed all I could do was shoot tracking shots and hope they use their repair kit earlier and shoot the next one. It was 2 and a half minutes of terror but I did it. After we had won I got up hands shaking and freaking out the way it went down, they could have rushed me and didn’t for some reason but it’s a game I will always remember.

    Loved the video lemming, sad to hear about how wg treated you in Belarus. I think all the CC’s should do a video or something explaining what happened in Belarus and how likely anything brought up is to change. Maybe like an “exposed” video where a CC talks about what was brought up and see if anything is done about it. Currently nobody knows what was asked so nobody knows if anything did come from the meetings.
    On a different note:
    Just one improvement I would suggest for future commentaries would be to use the player’s name (or shortened version) instead of “this guy”. Just my opinion :)

    With 200ms ping with packet due to distance from the servers - brawling is something I have never been able to master. Even when I am waiting for a tank to pop out and aiming at the exact same spot ready to shoot at it, it has popped out shot me, and returned to cover before I have even reacted to him popping out. Often the tank has disappeared behind cover again. This is why I hate brawling and prefer sniping at tanks from a distance and hitting them when they don't expect it. However, this is a playstyle, that can not carry matches and my performance rating reflects that.

    Are you going to make a video based on what you learned at Belarus, or is it not worth our time? I for one would appreciate a video like that

    • @LemmingRush_
      @LemmingRush_  6 років тому +52

      Im edging on the side of not worth everyone's time.
      Every time I asked a question in the Q&A, which i thought were reasonable questions in reasonable ways, they'd try to make me look like a fool.
      I can elaborate on that perhaps, in a video, but to me it was like, "ok well, you disagree and you're giving half truths as to why you think your stance is the right one, why did you even invite me if youre just gunna spin a half truth and attempt to make me look bad"
      For example, I asked a question about how wargaming decided if a map was ballanced.
      I was interrupted by a WG dev who said "with statistics". Everyone proceeded to laugh, and the guy who thought he got me gloated.
      So I had to literally pause and change the trajectory of my question to explain to him "I understand that but, for example, there's a significant difference between gameplay at tier 4 and tier 10", it was incredible to see how quickly his facial expression changed.
      I had to do this multiple times to actually get decent well thought out answers to my questions..

    • @z000ey
      @z000ey 6 років тому +9

      Well if it's statistics, the WG team didn't really learn it in school... They just took off Stalingrad from 1.0 and that map was statistically the most balanced (still never loved it), while they left many maps with huge statistical differences (i.e. mines, especially encounter high tiers)

    • @nicopeters8298
      @nicopeters8298 6 років тому +14

      Shit thats harsh, I really hope they dont treat all CC's like this, sad to see they have so little respect for you guys.
      Regardless I think a lot of people might be interested in your opinion on what they had to say, especially when you finally did manage to dig an answer out of them :) Although other CC's are likely to make content on it, more perspectives are always nice. I for one have a lot of respect for your content and would like to hear your angle on what they tossed at you. Hopefully at least SOME of their responses were content worthy

      LemmingRush I would argue that it's worth putting that out anyways, since it will yet again show how much of a bunch of dicks they are. I've always had a rather poor opinion of them and since Foch's controversy it has only gotten worse. You could even put some commentary in the video to explain your points if the footage is lacking.

    I’ve a negative comment. Don't you think it's atrocious that a person who doesn't have a premium account, even if he does THIS good on a winning match he LOSES credit. I mean WG are practically punishing him for not having a premium account. Any game's idea is to reward the better players. What sense does it make when you actually LOSE credits even when you win and play well. Absolutely disappointing
