What I would also take into consideration is how likely is the deck to get banned and/or to get irrelevant. Decks like Burn, Tron, UW Control, Amulet have proven time after time that they are format pillars and even though they might not always be on top, they are always playable.
Excellent Video! 🙂 I like how you go more into the "why" and "how" and explain, rather than do a top 10 budget modern decks. I like the detailed look into it much more! 🙂
Budget is a concern, but something else to consider is your personal playstyle. If you prefer quick fast paced go burn. Slower paced, control or midrange
I really agree with this analysis of the meta, it was very honest and could be helpful to newer players. One thing I’d love to stress is just that (like said) there are ALOT of cards and combos that can viably work in modern, I have my own janky GW hardened scales humans deck that will probably never compete at top meta game but is still very fun and wins a good amount of games
borrow you some decks play with some cards. and friends. or watch some videos - get to know the meta/format. at the end it has to be your dessision what you gonna play. thanks for your content. chears!
So in the spirit of asking the "stupid question", why does fetchless Burn have Eidolon of the Great Revel? You run zero cards that cost more than 3, so surely it hurts you more than your opponent when you sling spells to their face?
I'd say definitely combo since it relies on more than one card to cheat on costs. It definitely can play as a midrange deck but it's optimal plays and the things it wants to do is combo.

That´s true... bans hit hard
Making videos like this and keeping up a dialogue with new and prospective players is essential! Thanks so much!
Glad you like it!
thx you are making forcing my friend to play modern a bit easier
Show them more videos they will follow!
@@CardmarketMagic we still watch every video ❤ and hes spent more than me on modern decks now 😂

well done guys. great content!
Yeah!!!!!! Thank you!
Get... Hammer time... Possible turn 2 kill. Plus you can grind out with urza saga
lol it’s getting banned
@@Tariq8ification That's even less likely now that Lurrus is banned.
@@Tariq8ification Nothing is pointing to that. But, we will see huh.
Adam's choice 4c Control until he sees the price tag 😅...
Another hint from a player who started in 01 is high high priced decks also have a higher chance of getting banned out

Noted!
Simic/Temur Rec for Adam possibly as a budget start for 4C control
Really nice video, thanks!
Our pleasure!
I'm starting mtg and I am thinking about starting with black burn. Is this recommendable? Thank you guys
How about a most expensive Option, and a full bling out deck.
you should get temur crashing footfalls
awesome content :) 👏👏👏
Much appreciated!

they're gonna be playing spells under 3 too and you're happy to race them to 0
The first deck I thought for controly stuff + combo is the creativity deck.
I swear I would have expected a Rick roll
I don't know if I would call Cascade Rhino a combo deck. Feels more like a midrange deck to me.

Yawgmoth was not mentioned once in the Meta 😂😂
No matter how many challenges we win, the Doctor never gets love.
Bogles
Amulet titan is not a combo deck lol
Fully agree...
Burn
Play modern and cheap is an oxymoron.
LOL me parto! tienes toda la razón
