Hello, Manuel. Thanks for the video, but I'd like to ask whether they are using the same technology in 2020? Also can you tell me where I can see an examples of control de calidad blanks? Best regards!
@@ManuelRF, thanks for the answer. I really enjoying watching such videos, since we are so far away of growing banans, but at the same time they are very popular here :) Best regards!
@@ИлияТодоров-и4и this project was a university assingment for my friend, so I filmed and edited for him, we didnt even know how important this type of videos are until we saw the number of views and comments. In this particular video was filmed 16 or 17 years ago. And back then this farm didnt have the technology that others farms already had, but still was able to export banana to europe, for example, these bananas in this video were exported to Belgium. Some european companies are very strict with the quality control for example, this farm dont use chemicals as pesticides, they use citric based pesticides, also they seal the crown of the banana's cluster with citric juices, all this because they are commited to grow this fruit all organic. Almost all the farm in that area (northem Colombia) follow these guide lines of organic growing. Another quality control point is at the maritime port where they check every truck, they select 3 random boxes and inspect the fruit, depending on the number of problems they find they will decide whether they ship it or reject it. The rejected fruit is sold at local market. They talk about it in the video, but it's in spanish. I hope you find this helpful
@@ИлияТодоров-и4и I forgot to mention, part of the new technologies they use nowdays, it's a mechanized system that transport the fruit from the point they cut it to the place is washed. So they dont use animals to transport the fruit.
@@ManuelRF, thank you very much again. Yes, I've seen many videos from different places to see how people do all the process and there were many different technologies, but somehow I was impressed of the whole organization. Some videos were taken at very small farms, but at the same time they were able to export the production, since they shown some banana brands which I've seen here before. In fact we have a variety of brands at our market and that's cause my interest to explore somehow where they comes from :) Yes, I like the videos because they are very detailed and although I don't understand much spanish when I watch carefully it is more or less clear. I think each producer or farmer should present himself in order to let other people knows about. At least I'm excited to watch and learn something new which isn't typical for our country :)
Men, soy estudiante de comercio exterior! Su video es excelente! muy explicativo! pero me falto algo, quisiera saber que peso tiene cada caja (llena) promedio, y la resistencia de las mismas. Gracias!
