This video is heartbreakingly beautiful to me. As a recent graduate of the Franciscan school who loves this school that has cradled me and challenged me and changed me into a more ardent follower of God. A more trusting follower of God. Who experienced miracles here time and again. It is so startling to see another faith community transforming those familiar rooms, the little peace garden. So beautifully and consoling to see a community that has begun to treasure and value a space that so many others have treasured. May your new venture blossom into a voice that will enrich Holy Hill, that will challenge and nurture those already there, and those of your community who are coming now. Francis embracing the sultan is the most beautiful of omens. There is a tree there in the front garden not too far from the peace pole, Placed to honor a deceased member of our community. I hope that this tree blossoms and thrives for you. I am so glad that so much love has moved into this building. What could be better? Peace be unto you.
Thank you for the warm hearted embrace, and those lovely and kind words, I am almost on the opposite end of the globe, but it is soothing to see my sisters and brothers in faith being embraced among other people of faith. What I want to say that I believe that this place (Zaytuna College) is no less and what is amazing is that we are blessed to see one of its defining moments. You can find Shaykh Abdal Hakim Murad (Dr. Timothy Winters) there, who is a convert just like Shaykh Hamza and the same age too, and as knowledgeable as him. They are friends too. You may find many of his lectures here on UA-cam too.

I don''t know. I am a convert from the Christianity and I have a bad experience with the Muslims who were born in this religion. Ignorant, backwards and not pure in the heart. They drive out of Islam non Muslims. They are in the mosque thinking that they follow Qur'an and sunna. They call almoust everyone kafir. Sh. Hamza showed us a beauty and a power of Islam. His lectures are based on the Qur'an and Sunna. I read a Coran and sunna and I agree with you that other than that can lead us out of the right path. I don't listen other sufi only sh.Hamza and he is not sufi.I learned a lot from him. Thanks to him I love Islam. Before so "pious" Muslims drived me out of this so beautiful deen.
MrSaminko I agree with you brother but only Allah The God of Mankind know who is a True Pious Muslim(believer). Thank to Internet we can Listen and Learn from Sheikul Islam(Sholars of Islam) like Sheik Hamza Yusuf Dr Zakir Naik and Imam Zaid Shakir etc etc.
