Thanks for saying that cringe culture is dead, very recently I've gotten into kpop and I feel that it has suffered the same fate as One Direction where people mock it just because teen girls like it (I am not a teen btw). But since it's seen as cringe I have felt ashamed to talk about it or to show my friends the music and every time I post about it on my social media I feel like I'm annoying people, even though my friends have told me it's fine that I like it. It's kind of the effects that those comments have and the shame that they put on you, so I think it's great that you tell people that they should enjoy whatever they like and they shouldn't be ashamed about it.

I remember reading the Midnight Sun draft from her website in like 2011 it’s so crazy to me that this book is finally being published. It would be super funny/cool if there was a version of the first book that combines the POVs back and forth in like one giant 900 page mega novel.
I read the Midnight Sun draft, and if I’m being honest, I prefer it to Twilight, and I love Twilight but Edward and Alice have always been my favorite characters so I loved getting to learn even more about them.

I was dead when I read that classroom scene and I felt like I was sipping hot tea when I found out that, that one girl actually hated Bella and was jealous of her when she’s supposed to be her friend. *Still better love story then Twilight.* So. I hated Twillight. I disliked the books, but my crazy friends who obsessed over it made me hate it. But I've read all of it (since I never criticise stuff without getting familiar with them first) and Midnight Sun is, in my opinion, the only book that stands its ground and was fun to read. It seemed to add much needed depth to the cycle. So I probably won't read it, didn't watch the movies either, since I don't care about all of it overall. But it's nice that the best book finally gets to be published, and I'm glad for all the fans out there craving it. It feels so mature to finally allow people to freely enjoy stuff I didn't like myself and be happy for them. :P And boy, I was in the "burn Twillight fans"" crowd for so long. Good times, good times...

I've managed to never read Midnight Sun, so now I'm glad I've waited and can read the book and have everything be new to me. Currently in preparation I've started reading the books again for the first time since back then. I thought I might not enjoy it quite as much as an adult nowadays, but that's not the case. I'm still at Twilight but I love it. It's just genuine fun to read, more so than other YA I've read recently. Also I forgot just how much better than the movies the book is. Glad I get to experiencing this, just now with the stressful times we have it's nice to have something that's just mindless entertainment to keep my mind of things for a while and enjoy myself.

I am quaking. I immediately paralleled Joe and Edward’s (even though Joe is so so so much worse than Edward) story after rereading Midnight Sun recent. I think the book makes Edward so much more likable cause you can see that no matter how long he’s lived he’s still just a 17 year old boy and his brain is stuck in that head space. That doesn’t justify his actions but it definitely can make you sympathize with him much more. Also I think looking into how quick his vampire mind works helps the readers understand his mood changes in Twilight cause he was up and down every two seconds. Showing how fast he thinks really helped me like him better as a character. Also that dining room scene was *chefs kiss* absolutely perfect. Also showing how much Alice loves Bella from the beginning is so wholesome and perfect. Ugh can’t wait for the book. The chapters we got from the book were absolute perfect chaos and I can’t wait. I do hope she changes somethings (like how Edward is always saying “Bella is not like other girls. She’s so different blah blah blah” don’t like that at ALL) but maybe that’s just me

I know that like kinda makes me a half-ass fan, but I always just didn't want to read something that wasn't edited or finished, and I wanted to be able to experience the story in full if it ever was released, so I'm literally so excited for this novel. The Twilight Saga needs to become a TV Series or a Mini-Series per book. There is too much information in both Twilight & Midnight Sun for a two-hour movie. Many, many years ago, the Dark Shadows soap opera would make movies all about the backstories of new characters joining the show. The Twilight Saga series could do that. Be it movies for the theater, or for straight to TV. (Ooh. Actually, having several mini-series on character backstories per season to introduce new characters into the TV series would be super cool. Or as a way for the viewer to get to know the characters in the show) I'd be thrilled if they even figured out a way to work Life and Death into the show/mini-series.

I am quaking. I immediately paralleled Joe and Edward’s (even though Joe is so so so much worse than Edward) story after rereading Midnight Sun recent. I think the book makes Edward so much more likable cause you can see that no matter how long he’s lived he’s still just a 17 year old boy and his brain is stuck in that head space. That doesn’t justify his actions but it definitely can make you sympathize with him much more. Also I think looking into how quick his vampire mind works helps the readers understand his mood changes in Twilight cause he was up and down every two seconds. Showing how fast he thinks really helped me like him better as a character. Also that dining room scene was *chefs kiss* absolutely perfect. Also showing how much Alice loves Bella from the beginning is so wholesome and perfect. Ugh can’t wait for the book. The chapters we got from the book were absolute perfect chaos and I can’t wait. I do hope she changes somethings (like how Edward is always saying “Bella is not like other girls. She’s so different blah blah blah” don’t like that at ALL) but maybe that’s just me
Here’s the thing. I hope she keeps going. I want every book from Edward’s point of view. God help me, I want a Renesme and Jacob book.

Honestly, I think I might end up enjoying Midnight Sun even more than most, because I've never read the partial draft on her website. I know that like kinda makes me a half-ass fan, but I always just didn't want to read something that wasn't edited or finished, and I wanted to be able to experience the story in full if it ever was released, so I'm literally so excited for this novel. It's going to be a completely new experience for me!!

The Twilight Saga needs to become a TV Series or a Mini-Series per book. There is too much information in both Twilight & Midnight Sun for a two-hour movie. Many, many years ago, the Dark Shadows soap opera would make movies all about the backstories of new characters joining the show. The Twilight Saga series could do that. Be it movies for the theater, or for straight to TV. (Ooh. Actually, having several mini-series on character backstories per season to introduce new characters into the TV series would be super cool. Or as a way for the viewer to get to know the characters in the show) I'd be thrilled if they even figured out a way to work Life and Death into the show/mini-series.
