How to reset the red water filter like in your Samsung smart refrigerator

After you change out your old Samsung smart refrigerator water filter it can be confusing to reset the red (sometimes flashing red) water filter indicator light. I’ve made this an easy task in 3 easy steps:
Step 1: press the Door Alarm button on the bottom of the control panel for 3 seconds, you should hear a bell indicating the door alarm is off. Step 2: press the ice Maker button for 3 seconds, you should hear a bell and the red light should turn off.
Step 3: press the Door Alarm button for 3 seconds to turn the door alarm back on. You should hear a bell. That’s it.
