    Wonderful. How can we get FM and Fm through this?

      That's a good question. The F and Fm chords on the guitar are just E and Em moved up by one fret. You could do that, but I prefer the D and Dm moved up by 3 frets. There is also a nice shape for an F on the mandolin which doesn't really relate to the guitar F. From lowest string to highest: fret 5,3,0,1. But you can't turn that into Fm. Mandolin chord charts do come in handy for some chords. Cheers.
