There’s something oddly serene about the score here The assassin is driving through a chaotic and deadly war zone but to him it’s merely a sight to see and move through. The explosions in the distant make it less like a horrific event and more of a natural occurrence, like this world has been in war and destruction of so long that these things are just a part of its natural cycle
Its comforting the idea of scrap cheap sturdy tanks with no resemblence to their original forms with only one purpose, to slowly aproach the imminent doom. Also this gives me chills
Even if I never watched the movie, I've seen this clip and I was wondering.. "Who or why are they fighting?" Are those tanks really being operated by humans? Or is it more of those humanoid creatures?
None of this scene is ever brought up or explained ever again, it’s just something cool in the film, don’t think about anything in this film too much it’s just a cool art piece that doesn’t really have any explanation or meaning.
It's a critique on war itself. There's no discernible sides in this battle, it's just a constant, senseless violence for the sake of war. Those tanks, and whatever is driving them, don't even know why they're shooting, let alone what. A reflection of the senseless waste of life that is war.
The different types of modifications added to tanks making them look so different reminds me of the various modified tanks from the battlefields of Ukraine
@@generalgrievous4851i’m thinking of trying to buy a model and making a replica and your comment made it easy to find out what vehicle is was based on!

Honestly the only non-disgusting totally obscene part of the movie. A bunch of tanks shooting at each other.
There is the start with the anti aircraft weaponry
And the last man giving one of the assassins the map
That's part of what I love about this movie so much
My first thoughts upon seeing this scene was that it would make excellent background footage for a death metal music video
Saw high on fire today and the venue was playing this movie on a screen on the wall beside all the bands and I searched so much for this movie lol
Ingested and Shadow Of Intent have similar types of videos for their songs Another Breath and Blood In The Sands Of Time

They also have no markings, and are just randomly shooting at eachother
Me: "Oh my God what a horrible world"
The Assassin: "Eh, it's Monday morning"
My grandparents on their way to school
My boy clutched it when all hell was breaking loose lol
Am I the only one who thinks this scene is absolutely amazing in intensity and cinematography
Because it is. Immense amounts of work
It’s better then any live action piece to come out in the last year or so. I was blown away by this entire movie.
0:31 Maschinen Krieger?? I would kill for a stop motion Maschinen Krieger movie like this damn
I saw it too!!
This movie gives me a vibe from the 2009 animation movie called, "9"
Was literally just about comment that. Wouldn’t mind a second movie…
This is just the news, where’s the Mad God clip
The fact that at 30 seconds a Machinen Krieger armored suit gets domed is top tier.
And this movie is a genius nightmare. 😂💀😂
Anyone else getting those Terminator future war vibes

@@cosmiceyness ok
@@cosmiceyness What a sad way to watch movies.
The human is called the Last Man, so I'm guessing the tanks are either drones or operated by more weird creatures

ATTACK THE D POINT!!!!!
@1:24 on great---on top of everything else, it's _raining_ !!

WOW M2A5 tank (1930-s) is here!
The assassin drives a Kübelwagen

Nah, those tanks were obviously based on the M4 Sherman.
I recognized a few tanks. A Stuart, a Sherman, a T34/85, even a Rhino from WH40K lol
Those poor Sherman tank models got their turrets butchered 😭
This movie is fuckin wild I never finished it tho cuz it's hard to watch 😂
Gaza citizens going on a casual drive to their local water well
This movie was gay
