@@dr.walterbennett The first one is a bit more weathered, and this guys one is a lot more polished, if you look closer at the two they both wear the same type.
There’s something oddly serene about the score here The assassin is driving through a chaotic and deadly war zone but to him it’s merely a sight to see and move through. The explosions in the distant make it less like a horrific event and more of a natural occurrence, like this world has been in war and destruction of so long that these things are just a part of its natural cycle
Something I love about this particular assassin is that it is definitely more sassy than the previous one, it quickly snatches the case from the creator, and even slams the door, even without lines it expresses "alright, fine I'm going to finish this shit"
Makes me all the more mournful for these poor souls. They all have individual personalities, but are driven to their own deaths to fulfill their mission.
The different types of modifications added to tanks making them look so different reminds me of the various modified tanks from the battlefields of Ukraine

Even if I never watched the movie, I've seen this clip and I was wondering.. "Who or why are they fighting?" Are those tanks really being operated by humans? Or is it more of those humanoid creatures?
None of this scene is ever brought up or explained ever again, it’s just something cool in the film, don’t think about anything in this film too much it’s just a cool art piece that doesn’t really have any explanation or meaning.
It's a critique on war itself. There's no discernible sides in this battle, it's just a constant, senseless violence for the sake of war. Those tanks, and whatever is driving them, don't even know why they're shooting, let alone what. A reflection of the senseless waste of life that is war.
Why a Kubelwagen of all things
Forever Winter is basically this scene but an entire video game
Did he really just stop at the stop sign.... What a champ. Sassy and classy man.

I love how the calm music symbolizes how common war is in this world.
average night in Ukraine
Gaza citizens going on a casual drive to their local water well
I pull up in da whip
Me: "Oh my God what a horrible world" The Assassin: "Eh, it's Monday morning"
The fact that at 30 seconds a Machinen Krieger armored suit gets domed is top tier. And this movie is a genius nightmare. 😂💀😂
This movie was gay

Love how their uniform changes, this guy has armoured plating on his extremities now instead of a plain leather jacket.

Literally a genius film
This movie gives me a vibe from the 2009 animation movie called, "9"
Was literally just about comment that. Wouldn’t mind a second movie…
Those poor Sherman tank models got their turrets butchered 😭

Am I the only one who thinks this scene is absolutely amazing in intensity and cinematography
Because it is. Immense amounts of work
It’s better then any live action piece to come out in the last year or so. I was blown away by this entire movie.
0:56 probably one of the most light hearted scenes in the entire movie haha

I saw it too!!
Honestly the only non-disgusting totally obscene part of the movie. A bunch of tanks shooting at each other.
There is the start with the anti aircraft weaponry And the last man giving one of the assassins the map
That's part of what I love about this movie so much

Nah, those tanks were obviously based on the M4 Sherman.
I recognized a few tanks. A Stuart, a Sherman, a T34/85, even a Rhino from WH40K lol

The human is called the Last Man, so I'm guessing the tanks are either drones or operated by more weird creatures

My first thoughts upon seeing this scene was that it would make excellent background footage for a death metal music video
Saw high on fire today and the venue was playing this movie on a screen on the wall beside all the bands and I searched so much for this movie lol
