- A police chase was underway in South Florida Wednesday afternoon.
Aerial footage from Chopper 6 showed multiple officers in unmarked cars along with Miami-Dade Police pursuing a speeding silver SUV that was weaving in and out of traffic on the Palmetto.

I've never seen so many unmarked cops responding to a chase before. What's reassuring is that they're all agile mid-size sedans as oppose to the slower, top-heavy SUVs. I saw so many Toyota Camry's, Dodge Chargers, a Chevy Malibu, and a Chrysler 300. And Miami-Dade county police vehicles were more Dodge Chargers and a Ford Taurus. This is the way it should be. Using lighter weight, faster, and more agile sedans rather than the bulbous SUVs that aren't as agile and have roll-over risk. When you're in pursuit like this, you need something fast that handles well, although I wouldn't call the Toyota Camry or Chevy Malibu sports cars by any means but those Chargers and 300s are no slouches.
Lots of Camrys on the road so they blend easily. And who would've expected RED cars, too?
Arizona police chases are all done entirely by unmarked police cars, but they use those heavy duty trucks and suv though
