Interesting fact about the first air pistol you restored. When they were taking the first publicity photo of Sean Connery as James Bond they wanted a special looking weapon for him to hold. One of the staff came up with the same gun as this! So big bad James Bond is actually holding an Air Pistol!!!!
This pistol looks a lot like the ones they used in Return of the Jedi, by the pirate guard guys on Tatooine. I think Lando used one in the movie during the sarlacc pit scene
