Sir, I'm a 45 year old man, and I was born with a birth defect, Im suffer from depression and l went through a period where I wanted to end my life. Something wonderful happened during that time that made me stop thinking about self harm, and the good Lord kind of have me a 2nd childhood, which I'm still living to this day, Because of my birth defect, I was forced to grow up early and not enjoy being a child, when the good Lord changed my life, he also allowed me to be a kid once more I am now a teddy bear lover, I have over 200 teddy bears and I play, sleep and hug my bears whenever I can, and you know what, I don't have an ounce of humiliation in me, I don't care of what people think of me, a teddy bear saved my life (with God starting it.up) and as a way of saying Thank you to that teddy, who I still have) I became a full time teddy bear collector, I'm proud to be one, I hope u enjoy my story.. :)
When my uncle was 16, his mother threw away all of his stuffed animals. His husband found out, and now gives him a stuffed animal every year for his birthday. They've been together over 20 years now, and the entire collection lives on, and threatens to overflow, the shelf above their bed.
Stuffed friends are wonderful! It's sad how some people think we're supposed to "grow up" and forget about them after some arbitrary age. Unfortunately, I was forced to move back with my parents at the beginning of June, and my mother refuses to let me bring my giant stuffed frog Simon into the house. She claims he's dusty and dirty, as though he can't be vacuumed with an attachment and have any dirt wiped off with a damp cloth. She's also convinced there wouldn't be room for him, though he'd easily fit where he's always been kept, on my bed. I miss not having him to cuddle, particularly after awakening from a strange dream.
+Baryshnitsa I am so sorry to hear about Simon, which by the way is an amazing name for a frog! It is sad how we are told to put away "childish things" at a certain age. If they are a comfort and enrich our lives what does it matter?!
Agreed! I'm 29 and I don't want to the responsibility of a pet (I love family members pets) also pets die eventually and I don't think I could handle that like I'm still grieving the loss of loved ones
+FTMDaniel mate I totally agree! I never replied to the message as it was clear it was someone out to just be nasty as they mentioned my ex in the message. Some people are not worth wasting your energy on! I'm a proud lamby lover!!
I have a stuffed animal for my anxiety and ptsd, he smells like strawberries and calms me. I just feel judged by my peers, I’m 14. This made me feel better. Thank you💕
Sod what people say. You do you! Coping with mental health challenge is hard work, if our stuffed animals help us, then that's absolutely ok! Much love and strength to you!
I PROMISE it’ll get better. When I was in high school I decided to say “screw it!” And being my comforts with me. Everyone actually seemed to love them! Whoever didn’t, didn’t bother me. It doesn’t matter! They don’t matter. Do what makes you happy
What?! People had the nerve to judge you over having a stuffed animal?! Please! I think it's adorable, healthy, and engages all that's wonderful about being a child. I think we all need to tap into that part of us that is childlike. Lambycat reminds me of my childhood friend Mr. Whittaker (a large stuffed mouse); I still have him, and still love him. Hugs to you and Mr. Lamby!
Lambycat is adorable! I'm 47 and I love stuffed animals. My favorite stuffed buddy is my little dog Mudpie. He's been with me for years and I will never give him up.
No one should ever be ashamed of something like this. Having stuffed toys or blankets or anything for comfort is natural. How many people who judge you have pets that they cuddle and stroke for comfort? It’s exactly the same only one needs feeding and the other doesn’t!
I agree! I am not ashamed for having Don and Katsu (plush drums) and my baby blanket sleep by my side. I might even watch my favorite slice of life or magical girl anime with my Don and Katsu, because that makes me feel comfortable, even on a bad day. (Oh, and of course, I don’t watch just anime. There are non-anime things that I enjoy too.)
*Puts hand in air*. Plenty of soft toys here. I’m an autistic trans man. I loved soft toys before coming out, so I see no reason to suddenly stop loving them. I sleep with eight and have loads more around my room. I even bought a new one earlier today. Some have sentimental value, some I find the texture calming and some just look awesome.
Im a younger person with a Stitch BaB and I feel so self conscious bringing him out ( I have ADHD and autism, as well as pretty bad anxiety ) so I will always appreciate people speaking out about this. ❤
I LOVE the way you animate Lambycat he’s truly precious! I love jellycats too they bring me the same kind of comfort. Hope you and lamby are well 6 years on xx he’s 12 now!!
I'm a 40 year old enby, and I sleep with a stuffed bunny. I've had him since my 1st major surgery when I was 16. Bunny has been with me through countless moves, relationships, and cats. He even went to Australia with me.
+Trish Rowland haha!! See l have the opposite problem. I have loads of other stuffed sheep but l have to be very clear with them that lamby is number one otherwise he gets insanely jealous. All the others accept it luckily. Lamby sends love and hugs back xx
Dude, fair play! I am so proud to call you part of our plush community :) I am 37 and have many plushies but one in particular that I adore, named Scribbles, he is a little Polar Bear and he has a huge following on instagram, he brings me massive emotional support and helps me deal with my chronic illnesses! It is perfectly acceptable for adults to like stuffed animals :)
I love that Lambycat is an integral part of the FinnFam family. Lamby definitely adds to the character of what the FinnFam is all about, which is lots of fun, laughter, cuteness, healing, imagination, magic, transcendence, and the expression of your inner child. My inner child really adores Lambycat a lot. Whoever wrote you that nasty message must have had their inner child stopped from playing. They say that sometimes people try to stop in others what they've had stopped in them, probably unconsciously. So glad you gave that person the flick. We love Lamby. He's so gorgeous and adorable 🐑❤🌹 xx
Be an adult! Sooth yourself with harmful drugs! What kind of a world do we live in where people say that kind of garbage to one another? Ask them why it's more acceptable to numb yourself with substances than it is to hold, snuggle, and cherish a soft toy shaped like lovable creature. "He's a far better alternative to the ways in which I used to manage my mental health...". That's how I feel about my red panda, Hilda (nickname short for Hildebrand). Hearing the same sentiment from someone else is validating and cathartic. I got her a few weeks ago and finally named her today! I think it's super cute how you talk to your Lambycat and work body language into him to speak back to you. Hecka made me smile.
I'm 29, trying to stay sober and I live on my own. Having my stuffed animal (she's a stuffed fawn because I love how they look and what they symbolize) has helped me through some really lonely nights and times when I've felt sick like I've cried into her. She was only $10 but worth every penny and more... now she is absolutely priceless to me and such a blessing! I love you Baby Fawn (that's what I call her)
i have a cup holder on my wheelchair that makes a perfect seat for milo since it has holes on it that his legs hang through and i take him everywhere sitting in that cup holder. he also wears clothes mainly because he is going a bit balled on his chest so it protects that but also because its adorable and my mum says he is my alter ego as he has furniture and lots of stuff i made or bought for him, my dad is an antique dealer so when he buys lots at auction if there is something small and random that is milo sized he gives them to me for milo, the latest thing is an earring since i pierced mio's ear a while ago but he also game him a tiny compass that was made out of a bullet shell in the trenches of the 1st world war.. i have had him since i was little and he has been to school with me, in and out of hospital and has traveled everywhere i go and now i never leave the house without him
As an autistic trans man I completely understand. I'm a blankie man myself although it's evolved to cloaks and sweaters nowadays. I do catch more heat when I bring my chewy necklace anywhere public vs even a blanket but people can just stuff it. 😄
Autistic, too. I have a wolf in sheeps clothing (nici is the company who made him and the story to him) he is, like me just different, watches the sheep play and have a fun time, and whenever he runs up to them, wanting to play with them, they run away, scared of the wolf. One day, he decides to sew himself a sheep looking sweater, puts it on and oh wonder, the sheep welcome him and he is no longer alone. Mine was named "Wollvieh" by me, which is a pun in german, the literal meaning being wool bearing animal. But wolfie also is the pet name for a wolf who has some growing to do. In hospital, he was welcome, and the nurses found him adorable, maybe one day, lambie cat and him could meet and play together. So, you are not alone in the being over 40 and still having a relationship with a stuffed animal.
Giovanni, My 25-year old son is autistic and LOVES his blankies! Now it has evolved to blankets that he can put over his head and wrap his body in. He also has a chewie, but loves his blanket even more. I would never even THINK of taking away anything that gives him comfort. Go YOU! Oh, he also likes hats, do you?
Thank you for making this video!! I’m 19 and still haven’t gotten rid of my stuffed animals from when I was a child and during quarantine I found myself slowly adding to my collection. I felt embarrassed about it even though I’m also struggling with many mental health issues-this video just made me feel a lot better about it :)
I’m a college grad female and I carry a plush sea slug everywhere. He goes to work with me in a little backpack. Since I’m both younger and a girl I’m expecting to not get as much criticism, but it took me years to say “whatever” and start doing what I wanted and carrying a plush around again. His name is Raincoat and he’s really helping me get through this weird and difficult 2020. I have anxiety and depression and he’s a big help.
I love that you have a slug plush and l love his name!! And lm glad you now dont care what people think, if it gets us through, so what eh! Much love from one stuffed animal fan to another!
Oh my goodness, yes! This is why I make stuffed animals! I am so incredibly passionate about stuffed animals, and I am 21 years old and I am not ashamed at all because I love stuffy! Thank you so much for sharing adorable Lamby Cat with us!! so cute!
I'm commenting way late but I have a tiny little stuffed giraffe (he's Gavin the giraffe from TY) and I've started to take him everywhere. He just came with me to the doctor today to help me while I got a shot because I have a massive fear of needles. I can't wait to see the adventures I'll take him on in the future. He's really been a huge comfort for me and my best experience while having him was a woman saying she loved him and thought he was cute. I never expected people would be accepting but surprisingly they mostly are.
Before my son was born I didn't care for soft toys but now I do and my son has grown out of them and I'm the one who still loves my soft toys/ stuffed animals , especially rabbits and dogs.
Me and my partner share a love of stuffies, I have a triceratops called Tank and he has a ginger cat called Simba. As a result of my mental health I age regress without even realising it and Tank helps me in those situations where I can’t bring myself back out and be in the big wide world and be the adult man that I am. With responsibilities can be over whelming I tend to age regress a lot. When I was a child I had a big jaguar, an orang-utan and a big duck, and a wardrobe top full of stuffed toys. My partner bought be a big teddy bear for our year anniversary. Lots of love for Lamby cat such a a character! Do whatever makes you feel stronger Finn.💕
I never once questioned why you had Lamby. I guess I think it's normal for people to just have cute random things around them all the time lol. Knowing now how Lamby is one of your support buddies just makes me love the little fuzzball even more
I have autism and sensory processing disorder. I also suffer from severe anxiety and ADHD. I have a stuffed animal with me everywhere. Yours is a lamb, mine is a sloth. His name is Flash Glash Hundred Yard Dash, yes from Zootopia. I carried him with me into Aldi's. And no one judged me.
I have a soft toy rabbit called Chestnut that keeps me company at university when I feel sad and lonely! Soft toy love for adult men! Would rather talk to her than a human being :)
my advice to anyone is to love what you love as long as you're not harming anyone, they have no right to intimidate you. This is why we have emotional problems. We are told from a young age who and what to be by many people and it confuses us. all we want is to be accepted or at least not bullied and harassed. Happiness is a human right for all of us.
Thanks so much for this video. I'm a 30 year old cis man, I've been struggling with PTSD most of my life, and only recently found a strong attachment to a stuffed toy. It caught me quite off guard, and initially I've felt very embarrassed. I still don't understand exactly why I've been feeling so connected to it, but it's been pretty helpful for me. You rock.
Our society does a good job of making people feel ashamed, when they have absolutely no reason too. You live every day, with an incredibly challenging mental health condition, that makes you a warrior and if you have a stuffed toy by your side in battle, what does it matter! Sending a ton of love your way my friend!
He is not a stuffed animal, he is a friend, I have my special friend too, and I'm married and with child's but I have social anxiety. And he helps me a lot because a person can change but my "special" friend don't, so I take him everywhere. He doesn't judge me if I don't want to talk or if I want to be alone for a while. Thank you for sharing this part of your life I bet it's so important.
Bless you! Yes exactly this, Lambycat is indeed my best special friend! There is so much that i wouldn't manage to do if it wasn't for him! We should never feel ashamed for having this healthy ability to be able to soothe ourselves!
I love the way you made lamby cat seem alive in this video! They got you through some very tough times. I think we can learn from stuffed animals, to listen and to care for someone or yourself. edit: I have a couple of dragon plushies, seems like I’m raising a horde of them and I love them a lot
I am.convinced that lambycat is actually alive...he just channels his energy from me 😉 and l agree with you, they are so good for us, l dont care what people might think!
I have countless stuffed friends ranging from giant to tiny. They all have names. I have every animal from dragons to a tarantula named Tula. They all have one common goal and that's to make me feel safe
Lambycat is adorable. Thank you so much for sharing him with us! I am watching your video in 2024 while feeling a bit of anxiety and it's very comforting to see you with your little friend. 🥰🌹❤️ Congratulations on your sobriety! 🥳
I have HUGE anxiety so I have three stuffed animals, Warmie, Eve, and Lavender! Warmie and Lavender are warm and you can put them in the microwave to make the lavander activate and warm me! And Eve, she just calms me! I've had her for a hella long time and I love her! ☺️❤️
This is so cuteee, I love that you still have your stuffed sheep🥹many people don’t understand the attachment people have with our stuffed animals :/ they’re so comforting and cute🥰
I unabashedly still collect "stuffies" (stuffed animals) and "fluffies" (super fuzzy soft blankets) no one expects the short gender neutral tattoo covered one to have a massive collection! I do, and I love it! I have my own lamby collection. No shame! I'm also a huge Eeyore collector. He's my mascot lol.
I'm 24 years old and still have my stuffed Elmo from when I was a baby. I'd expect that most boys would outgrow their stuffed Elmos, but somehow I just got attached to mine and I never wanted to let him go, so he's still here with me to this day and I sleep with him every night too. He's worn, but lovable (to me at least ^_^). I have a collection of stuffies in my room too. Most of them are on shelves in the closet though, and I leave it open when I'm by myself so that I can look at them (I find the arrangement aesthetically pleasing).
I haven't seen your other videos, I'm just here for this video in particular because I love my stuffed animals the same way I'm just so comforted to see I'm not alone!
You are most definately not alone! No shame in being an adult with stuffies! Feel free to watch my other content, Lambycat is always featuring somewhere....
I love my panda bear. 🐼 I treat my panda bear just like he's my baby. He makes me happy whenever I'm feeling sad. I named him Morris. He caught my eyes at a thrift store .I just fell so in love with him.
Ah yay! Welcome to the FinnFam! Lovely to have you here! So glad you found me too! If you'd like more of me, I also have an accompanying blog : finlaygames.com
I have a stuffed otter names Cheerio and he really calms me down and makes me really happy, he helps me out whenever I get anxious and I take him out whenever I go in public to calm me down :)
Lambycat is really cute! I have four little helpers: a little sheep, an owl, a penguin and my favorite one, my pig called Herbert. I'm dealing with anxiety and depression and having Herbert (and the other three) with me, helps soooo much! It really should be totally okay to have a little stuffed animal to help you with problems and make life easier. Sad that some people still say things like you are too old for a stuffed animal...
I carry around my purple monkey! She is my best friend and has been with me for 11 years! Some People tell me that I shouldn’t have her, while others support her! Just like you, I think she is more famous than I am. 😂 She calms me down during my panic attacks, and is there for my constant need for a hug! I don’t know why anyone would ever want to make fun of someone for having a support buddy! They come in all different shapes in sizes! 😊 Good job for standing up for yourself, and telling others it’s okey to have a support stuffed animal! Thank you!! 🥺💗💞💖
Ah what a lovely comment, thank you! I absolutely agree with you, who care what people use to feel comforted and secure! Yay to Lambs and Monkeys, especially purple ones!
Lambycat is adorable 🥰 I love seeing other adults with their stuffed friends mine get annoyed when I mention them being stuffed 😂😂 You're letting no one down it's very empowering to see someone use a comfort item ❤
Clean and sober takes tremendous strength as a man or women. What does gender have to do with it. I'm referring to the man up comment. You are a strong man for all that you have done to make yourself whole. Your transition, sobriety, recovering from toxic relationships, dealing with a sick parent. You have a reservoir of strength. Keep moving soldier. Your my hero. :)
As someone who is struggling with some mental issue myself, i just want to send my love and support to you and your amazing sheep friend. As a kid i couldn't quite form attachments to toys due to psychological abuse and constant invalidation of my thoughts and feelings. As an adult, I bought a pink teddy bear that is very soft and floppy and I love him very much. ❤ Nothing wrong with self-soothing and finding comfort in things that are harmless to us and everyone else. They are innocent, and adorable, and fluffy. Please give your lovely fuzzy friend a few extra cuddles from me.
I watched this whole video cuddling Big Teddy, as I tend to do the vast majority of things at the moment. Having a bear to cuddle whenever I need some kind of support or reassurance is great, and really comforting, and as I write this I'm looking at my bookshelves strewn with cuddly toys - including the little ones I have over 60. Plus, I collect ducks, and they come into school with me every day, and if I've having a particularly bad day then quietly hugging one during a lesson helps a lot.
FinnTheInfinncible Oh, no, not 60 ducks - 60 cuddly toys in general (though that would be counting a lot of rather small keyring ones you can hang on bags and the like). Ducks I have about 8-10, including a bunch of fun rubber ducks. :)
I'm a huge pokemon fan and have my Axew plush for 10 years now. I haven't been anywhere without him overnight since then. I talk to him, I smile at him when he's in my line of sight and the fact we share so many memories together brings me comfort. Just yesterday I started to look up some stuff about comfort plushies because I wanted to know how many other people are out there with similar bonds to their plushies.
It's very common and it's absolutely fine as well! It's just so many people judge so not many people speak about it. I have a lot of anxiety, and l need a lot of self soothing and this is what works for me, we should all be encouraged to do what works for us and to know it's ok. I talk to Lamby, l think of him as my best friend and I would be in utter grief if anything happened to him so I completely understand!
@@FinnTheInfinncible Same with me and Axew. If I have him in my bag, I always have an eye on it and make sure he's in there when I go into the bus, just to be absolutely sure. But I also don't worry about forgetting anything else, because I believe he makes sure that everything I need is in my bag.
I googled adults and stuffed animals and your video came up I had to watch! I own 50 ish jellycat stuffies and they are my comfort buddies... watching you made me feel so comfortable about it 💕 they are tremendous help with my anxiety xx
Aw hello! I am jelous of your Jellycat family! I have to keep downsizing my collection, as they are huge! Lambycat is Mr number one though! Without him I wouldnt get to half the places I get to! Yay us!
OMG! This has really spoken to my heart today. Although this video is 3 years old, I hope you're still well. I am a trans woman and 63 years old. I only started my transition 4 years ago. I have a little stuffed cocker spaniel that originally helped me with the passing of a shared real life spaniel. Several people have referred to Pups as my therapy pet. But Pups has become much more than that. I wondered if I was developing a mental condition, but have since learned that some of my older neighbors have stuffed pets as well. Pups has helped me get through the loss of a dear pet, alcohol and drug abuse, loneliness and much more. Thanks for putting this video together hun. It's nice to know that I'm not alone. Love and Hugs, Jackie 🌺💃
Bless your heart, I am glad this video helped! No, there is nothing wrong with you, self soothing is perfectly fine and its fine to do that with a stuffed lamb or a stuffy pup! I still have him, he is getting rather worn from all the hugs and travelling now! Hugs back to you!
I’m so happy that your decided to open up about this. It not only helps people be more accepting to it, but it also help people like me accept ourselves. I have this special zombie plush named Zoe (The e is silent). I love him and I have seen a difference in myself when I have him with me. I’ve had him for years and now that I’m in my adult years. I still find him helpful and am glad other people can have something like that too. Thank you for making this video.
I'm so happy to find your video! I use an stuffed Orangutan. It is the best way of getting thru tough times. I love Orangutans so after a home invasion I was gifted my stuffed Orangutan.
Lamby is so cute! And he has such a nice personality 😊 I think he and my Teddy would be great friends. Also, I’m glad I’m not the only one having the conversation about him being stuffed… and not a real lamb 😅
Hi Finn, liked your video. I got my own self-care bear, her name is Peg, the Koala. We have been together 7 years and she goes everywhere with me. We both have similar stories, it sounds. I had a warning depression coming and I took action to help making navigating easier. That's where Peg came in. You have a blessed day sir.
Your video came up as I I searched for weighted toys for settling/soothing my 4 year old granddaughter. What a fantastic video Finn , watching here in Western Australia and hoping you are keeping well ❤️ sending big hugs to Lambycat too 💞💞💞💞💞
I'm a guy and I have sensory prossesing disorder. I always feel too afraid to bring a teddy out in public with me even tho I know it would help. I brought my lil bud to collage in my back for a bit and I'd go hide with it when I was having sensory overload but bringing a backback everywhere would be a bit odd. I'm glad I'm not the only man who likes stuff like this.
Why do i get a sudden urge to watch Lamb Chop's Play-Along. Wonder if my VHS still works, lol. Cute stuffed animal by the way. :) Do what you got to do. Who cares what anybody says. Long as it works for you that is what important. Never give up, never surrender! Keep moving forward!
I know this was uploaded a few years ago and may not be read but I am an adult male. For the last 10+ years I have actively been involved in numerous combat sports like boxing, HEMA and Olympic style fencing (I am a man). Never let anyone judge you for loving a stuffed lamb or anything similar (I have a few I love)!
I'm a 19 year old trans man with loads of stuffed toys and fluffy blankets, anyone who has a problem with it they can stuff it! Two of my stuffed toys I've had since I was 4. I was always insecure about it and doubted if I was trans because of it as it wasn't "a male thing" seeing you with Lamby cat has helped me realise it's nothing to be ashamed of which is great as have Asperger's syndrome they have always been a coping mechanism for me and they always will be.
I'm a transmasc who just adores plushies. Seeing you, a trans guy who's much older than myself, have such a close friendship with a plush means the world to me. Wishing you both the very best.
Im thrilled to hear this! I refused to feel ashamed for what soothes me and gives me comfort, who cares! And, I use a blanket too, for rubbing for comfort. Those that judge need to look in the mirror and tell themselves off! Much love to you
I'm laughing my ass of about the Welsh joke. I have a plush pug called Erebus which I use to walk around with in my backpack. I did get mocked by my niece for doing so but he was soothing in my teens.
If you love him it’s ok he’s really cute!!! I’m proud of you that you are here ppl don’t get what others go through in life. I’m glad you are still here❤❤❤
I have an elepphant called Edward and I wouldn't be without him, my previous partners have also learned to love him, they, like pets, friends and family, become part of your lives and I also being a transman have recieved various comments on having Edward but I'm with you 100%. Positive vibes, love and hugs as always mate, Xander
omg I recognize myself in so much you tell me about yourself when it comes to the security of a stuffed animal, I was completely broken after a divorce I went through over 2 years ago. I have always loved stuffed animals, but after feeling bad for 2 years after the divorce, I have a special stuffed animal with me everywhere, even at work when I get mild anxiety and have Aspberger's syndrome. I am 31 years old and have many stuffed animals in my life. keep up with what you're doing ❤
I'm autistic and my brother passed away but I got a m3gan plush for my birthday as and a Wednesday one a couple of days ago I use them as my security blanket I clang on them whenever I get stressed or anxieus
Ah Finn. Another video to brighten my day. I really love your videos, you’re such a genuine, positive, kind man and your videos really calm me and make happy. You always leave me in a calm state which is not a yet a familiar feeling for me. Of course I see nothing wrong with you loving lambycat and having the relationship you do with them. You’re just taking care of yourself and I can see how Lamby soothes you and keeps you calm and collected. Keep smiling and spreading positivity. Thanks as always buddy.
+Alex Graham you know what this is one of the most wonderful compliments , being told lm calming really shows how much I've changed!! It makes me so happy to know l come across that way. Thank you!
I know this video was a few years ago but I’m so glad I stumbled upon it. Im 17 and also have a jellycat that I take everywhere with me and cuddle every night. My mental illness has always been put off especially by my parents. Even waiting months to get a place in therapy just for my mum to ignore all the letters in the mail and never take me there. I used to struggle with self harm too from the age of 12-16 and fortunately I’ve stopped that now. These days I take all my pain and cuddle it away into my jellycat leopard! Thankyou so much for sharing this video, it made me feel like I’m not alone
There are more insane things going on in the world rn that someone walking around with a stuffed animal. Its perfectly normal especially someone like me who has severe mental health. I have a teddy bear named mortimer he's chunky fuzzy and I LOVE him.
Just now seeing this video because I've been looking into stuffed animals and their uses as soothers. I had my own stuffed love named Woodrow that has been my support and helped me through a lot and it's always so amazing seeing others with their stuffed love just living life and being so supportive of one another. The age has actually been an issue I'm sure everyone with stuffed love will face although its all about taking care of yourself and staying strong as can be. Lovely video although its 3 it really was an amazing work I enjoyed
Stuffed animals are awesome. Always up for a hug 🤗
Yes they are!
I don't get why the world has such a big problem with adults having and loving stuffed animals I mean are you ever too old to love a friend?
Exactly!
stuffed animals are there for me when im lonely at night
Right my little sister makes fun of me for being 20 and having my stuffed animals as emotional support
*Looks at your pfp*OMG ANOTHER THERIAN
Stigma. People, society basically think that when you're an adult, that you keep it together all the time.
In my opinion a real man loves stuffed animals no matter what. all the best to you and your little sheep friend
So very very true. Thank you!!!
People who give their stuffies sweet personalities are whimsical and creative and fun and so full of empathy and love. You're wonderful
What a lovely comment, thank you!
Sir, I'm a 45 year old man, and I was born with a birth defect, Im suffer from depression and l went through a period where I wanted to end my life. Something wonderful happened during that time that made me stop thinking about self harm, and the good Lord kind of have me a 2nd childhood, which I'm still living to this day,
Because of my birth defect, I was forced to grow up early and not enjoy being a child, when the good Lord changed my life, he also allowed me to be a kid once more
I am now a teddy bear lover, I have over 200 teddy bears and I play, sleep and hug my bears whenever I can, and you know what, I don't have an ounce of humiliation in me, I don't care of what people think of me, a teddy bear saved my life (with God starting it.up) and as a way of saying Thank you to that teddy, who I still have) I became a full time teddy bear collector, I'm proud to be one, I hope u enjoy my story.. :)
Bless your dear heart! Thank you so much for sharing that with me. Sending much love your way!
When my uncle was 16, his mother threw away all of his stuffed animals. His husband found out, and now gives him a stuffed animal every year for his birthday. They've been together over 20 years now, and the entire collection lives on, and threatens to overflow, the shelf above their bed.
+mzthorn that is unbelievably cute!!!!
I’m 73 and love my Stuffed Friends! They don’t eat, make a mess, argue and always give hugs.
I’m 75 and my stuffed friends are always ready for hugs… day or night…
Agreed! I'm 29 and I don't want to the responsibility of a pet (I love family members pets) also pets die eventually and I don't think I could handle that like I'm still grieving the loss of loved ones
Lamby is lovely. If someone is judging you over a stuffed pet, then they should get a mental check for themselves, yeah? Nothing wrong with it.
FinnTheInfinncible thank you so much
I PROMISE it’ll get better. When I was in high school I decided to say “screw it!” And being my comforts with me. Everyone actually seemed to love them! Whoever didn’t, didn’t bother me. It doesn’t matter! They don’t matter. Do what makes you happy
Why not . Whatever makes you relaxed and happy.. I love my toy dogs . I have 3 of them on my bed and I take them out in my car sometimes.
It's ok friend I am always here for you ❤❤
Lamby!
+friendoftherese1 I know! I was shocked! Ah you've told me about Mr whittaker. He sounds wonderful!
Lambycat is adorable! I'm 47 and I love stuffed animals. My favorite stuffed buddy is my little dog Mudpie. He's been with me for years and I will never give him up.
I love that!!
No one should ever be ashamed of something like this. Having stuffed toys or blankets or anything for comfort is natural. How many people who judge you have pets that they cuddle and stroke for comfort? It’s exactly the same only one needs feeding and the other doesn’t!
I LOVE that! Never thought about it like that before! I agree!!!
+Reuben Bryant love this!!!
Love you and lamby!
We love you too!
I'm a 40 year old enby, and I sleep with a stuffed bunny. I've had him since my 1st major surgery when I was 16. Bunny has been with me through countless moves, relationships, and cats. He even went to Australia with me.
+mzthorn ah as well travelled as lamby! Though he actually hasn't managed to go abroad yet...
I have two sloths stuffies. I got my first one to get over the trauma of sexual assault. It has been very comforting to have them there.
I am very glad they give you comfort, bless you.
Stuffed animals are great! I have several, but I can't say which is my favorite or the others will be jealous. Hug Lamby Cat for me Finn.
+Trish Rowland haha!! See l have the opposite problem. I have loads of other stuffed sheep but l have to be very clear with them that lamby is number one otherwise he gets insanely jealous. All the others accept it luckily. Lamby sends love and hugs back xx
Well you see that's just me. I want to keep them all happy.
the same for me! that way i keep them all on my bed so no one feels left out
Dude, fair play!
Yes it is! Who cares what people think!

+Moosh207 ah l love this! Inner children should be nurtured forever. Loving all this lamby love!
I love you Baby Fawn (that's what I call her)
i have a cup holder on my wheelchair that makes a perfect seat for milo since it has holes on it that his legs hang through and i take him everywhere sitting in that cup holder. he also wears clothes mainly because he is going a bit balled on his chest so it protects that but also because its adorable and my mum says he is my alter ego as he has furniture and lots of stuff i made or bought for him, my dad is an antique dealer so when he buys lots at auction if there is something small and random that is milo sized he gives them to me for milo, the latest thing is an earring since i pierced mio's ear a while ago but he also game him a tiny compass that was made out of a bullet shell in the trenches of the 1st world war.. i have had him since i was little and he has been to school with me, in and out of hospital and has traveled everywhere i go and now i never leave the house without him
We love Milo!!!
Milo sounds like a really nice chap ^_^
Lambycat made me smile today.
Ah I'm so glad he did!
As an autistic trans man I completely understand. I'm a blankie man myself although it's evolved to cloaks and sweaters nowadays. I do catch more heat when I bring my chewy necklace anywhere public vs even a blanket but people can just stuff it. 😄
+Giovanni Calentino stuff it indeed! What does it matter to people!
Go YOU! Oh, he also likes hats, do you?
friendoftherese1 Not particularly . I like the idea of them more than actually wearing them lol. I do love a hood or scarf over my head though!
There is no reason to be embarressed. However we choose to comfort ourselves, at whatever age, is perfectly OK!
It is a great thing that you have him at your side 🙂👍! All good people love stuffed animals in my opinion.
I have to agree with you!
Im 45 and still love stuffed animals. "I dont want to change the world and i dont want the world to change me" -Ozzy Osbourne
Love love love that quote!
+LostIn ASadFantasy bless you. Thank you for sharing that with me. Lots of love back to you my friend
A thats mine in the picture! They are so fluffy that have dried all my tears away!
+oxfir sklias what a cute face!
I have a warmie sloth named Toasty. He goes absolutely everywhere with me and is my little emotional support friend.
Wonderful! I can picture him!
I never once questioned why you had Lamby. I guess I think it's normal for people to just have cute random things around them all the time lol. Knowing now how Lamby is one of your support buddies just makes me love the little fuzzball even more
+13juniper love love love this 😁😁😁😁
I have autism and sensory processing disorder.
+Luke Woolley ha Ha!! I agree, lamby and l have some great chats!
my advice to anyone is to love what you love as long as you're not harming anyone, they have no right to intimidate you. This is why we have emotional problems. We are told from a young age who and what to be by many people and it confuses us. all we want is to be accepted or at least not bullied and harassed. Happiness is a human right for all of us.
I absolutely agree my friend. In a world where you can be anything,, be kind!
I love that! Absolutely nothing wrong with it, we all have different ways to feel soothed and safe and there should never be any judgement
That's the sweetest thing I've ever Sean! I love your sheep. Stuffed animals are amazing!
Yes they are indeed!
Aw I love this! Thank you for sharing!
This is so cuteee, I love that you still have your stuffed sheep🥹many people don’t understand the attachment people have with our stuffed animals :/ they’re so comforting and cute🥰
Absolutely! And why should it ever be an issue! Much love!
+Silver Thompson this make a me so happy!!!
I still have all of my stuffed animals in my closet. When I was little I could never remember their names so I would give them new ones each time
I'm 24 years old and still have my stuffed Elmo from when I was a baby.
One of my partners has three bears with personalities, it's more than charming.. ❤️
+Fenix Silverbeams love this!!
I have my bear Malcolm! One look at his smile never fails even a little at my worst & cuddles are frequent!
He's my cuddly soulmate & 'squishy'! ;)
I LOVE this! Thanks for sharing!
I love my panda bear. 🐼 I treat my panda bear just like he's my baby. He makes me happy whenever I'm feeling sad. I named him Morris. He caught my eyes at a thrift store .I just fell so in love with him.
I just discovered you and I already love you! I am 52 and I love my plushies and I refuse to 'grow up'! You have a beautiful heart keep smiling :)
Good for you! There is no shame in any of the ways we use to cope!
I am 14 years old and I still sleep with my stuffed animal ❤️
I’m so glad you are sharing lammycat! Hello!
Hello! Be proud! Nothing wrong with some stuffed animal love!
@@FinnTheInfinncible thank you! ❤️
Thank you for this awesome video ..❤❤lambycat is adorable
Thank you!
She calms me down during my panic attacks, and is there for my constant need for a hug!
I don’t know why anyone would ever want to make fun of someone for having a support buddy! They come in all different shapes in sizes! 😊
Good job for standing up for yourself, and telling others it’s okey to have a support stuffed animal!
Thank you!! 🥺💗💞💖
Ah what a lovely comment, thank you! I absolutely agree with you, who care what people use to feel comforted and secure! Yay to Lambs and Monkeys, especially purple ones!
Lambycat is adorable 🥰
I love seeing other adults with their stuffed friends mine get annoyed when I mention them being stuffed 😂😂
You're letting no one down it's very empowering to see someone use a comfort item ❤
+Jessica Ciliberto you are so incredibly kind thank you so much my friend
As someone who is struggling with some mental issue myself, i just want to send my love and support to you and your amazing sheep friend. As a kid i couldn't quite form attachments to toys due to psychological abuse and constant invalidation of my thoughts and feelings. As an adult, I bought a pink teddy bear that is very soft and floppy and I love him very much. ❤
Nothing wrong with self-soothing and finding comfort in things that are harmless to us and everyone else.
+thewoowooster 60 ducks!! Wow l thought my sheep collection was large!!
FinnTheInfinncible Oh, no, not 60 ducks - 60 cuddly toys in general (though that would be counting a lot of rather small keyring ones you can hang on bags and the like). Ducks I have about 8-10, including a bunch of fun rubber ducks. :)
+thewoowooster Ah! Still....thats a lovely amount of fluff!
@@FinnTheInfinncible
Same with me and Axew.
@@FinnTheInfinncible 🌺💞💃
You are such an inspiration! I have a stuffed dog I take every where. And I’m 21
And there is nothing wrong with that!
I have a Yoshi I clip to my backpack
🧸🙏❤️✨ Thank you Finn and Lambycat! I love you Finn Fam!
Ah! love you!
Lamby is so cute! And he has such a nice personality 😊 I think he and my Teddy would be great friends. Also, I’m glad I’m not the only one having the conversation about him being stuffed… and not a real lamb 😅
Aw. Bless you and Lamby Cat. Love to you both. xx
+MyKittenHasADD we send love back!
What a fantastic video Finn , watching here in Western Australia and hoping you are keeping well ❤️ sending big hugs to Lambycat too 💞💞💞💞💞
Ah what a lovely message, thank you! Big love to you all from us!
Do what you got to do.
Bless.you my friend, I appreciate your comment very very much!
Im 43 and have stuffty friends too❤️
Thanks for sharing
Yay for stuffy friends! Thanks for watching!
+Adam macmillan bless you buddy, loving stuffed toys and fluffy blankets does not make you any less of a man that's for sure! Never be ashamed.
Theres never any shame! Sod what people think!
If you love him it’s ok he’s really cute!!! I’m proud of you that you are here ppl don’t get what others go through in life. I’m glad you are still here❤❤❤
Lamby is soooo cute and as long as he makes you feel better and gives you comfort screw what anyone else says.Much love xxx
Absobloominglutely!!!
I have an elepphant called Edward and I wouldn't be without him, my previous partners have also learned to love him, they, like pets, friends and family, become part of your lives and I also being a transman have recieved various comments on having Edward but I'm with you 100%.
Positive vibes, love and hugs as always mate,
Xander
+Xander Scott hi Edward! Yes! Stuff what people think!
omg I recognize myself in so much you tell me about yourself when it comes to the security of a stuffed animal, I was completely broken after a divorce I went through over 2 years ago.
Ah, we love Lamby 💜xxx
He loves you!
He's a very cute sheep! I have a hand puppet teddy and I need to repair him at some point.
He is a diva! Hi Teddy!
I'm autistic and my brother passed away but I got a m3gan plush for my birthday as and a Wednesday one a couple of days ago I use them as my security blanket I clang on them whenever I get stressed or anxieus
Im sorry you lost your brother. Your plushies sound lovely! Give them a squish from me!
This makes me feel less alone. My plushies are literally my babies and they mean so much to me, most of them are wolves my favourite animals 🐺🖤
I love that!
@@FinnTheInfinncible Aww thank you that means a lot
Always wondered about the back story of Lamby Cat. Love you Finn!!!!
+PoeBoi Kramere and now you know! Love u too 😊😊
Ive created a thread over on the FinnFam page, come over and share your #stuffedlove! facebook.com/finntheinfinncible/
There are more insane things going on in the world rn that someone walking around with a stuffed animal.
Its perfectly normal especially someone like me who has severe mental health.
I have a teddy bear named mortimer he's chunky fuzzy and I LOVE him.

I'm 17 and I struggle with ocd but my stuff animal opossum helps me so much. His name is Posh bear.
I love hos name! Be proud of the way you cope!
Thanks for watching, glad you enjoyed it! Yes, who cares how old we are, if it works, so what eh!
