I made a table cloth and matching valances with the navy and white checkered fabric with white thread. It was beautiful. And when we sold our house years later, they wanted to keep them. But I still have my apron I made 45 yrs ago.

My first quilt way back in 1986 was a chicken scratch alphabet baby quilt on yellow gingham. I wore it out with all three of my kids. It became thread bear and I foolishly threw it away.
