    66 - 21 = 45
    Of these 45 remaining cats, we need all of them to either have stripes or one black ear, to get the overlap to be as small as possible.
    So we take away the 32 with stripes from the 45 to get 13 cats with only one black ear. Since the number of cats in total with one black ear is 27, we subtract 13 from 27 to get 14 cats with both stripes and one black ear.
    Therefore, the answer is option E.

      Nice! I deviated from you a little: 45 must be the number of striped cats (s), black eared cats (b), and combined (c). The sum of s + b is 59. We know that's too many, because s + b + c = 45, so c = 59 - 45.
      Thus, there are 14 combo-coloured cats.
