My aunt's a jeweler and recently made a wedding band for a family friend that had the batman symbol, (becuase it's their thing) engraved in his and her ring. They both loved it. So while simple is sometimes better, if it's sentimental and means a lot, how cooky it is doesn't matter, as long as it matters to them
