@thejam216 Well,it wasn't his idea at first place.It was John Lennon's cover.He recorded a demo of the song himself,then send it to Ringo.What Ringo did was to remove John's voice,record his own,and invite Harry Nilsson for back-up vocals.As usual,someone else did the whole production for Ringo :)
