My goodness, you will never stop learning something new when you pick up a guitar. One of my favourite lessons. Thanks, good luck with your film career.
Yet another great lesson Sean! Your lessons are really hands-on where we can use what you teach us immediately to enhance our own playing… Thank you! 🎸🎶
10:17 wow, you just leveled my playing! with this 'little' lesson i can Target Notes, Work on Rhythm, AND be Musical? Sean Daniel, Yooo a Baahhhhd Man!
The sound of those barre chords plus hammer-on reminds me of the opening to that Doobie Brothers song "Without Love (Where Would You Be Right Now)" Thanks for this lesson!!
It absolutley is. They use the same technique on Listen to The Music which Sean has a lesson for. Alot of songs use this technique. Youll hear it now that youre aware of it.
@@seandaniel23 it’s truly a pleasure and I aspire to be your Soap Stunt Double playing that sultry guitar so you don’t have to focus on anything but being a acting heart breaker. Lol 😂 honestly I hope we link up one day my Brother. Mad respect ✊
Your lessons have been very helpful for me. I've finally figured out that the note on the 6th string you play minor pentatonic position 1 and if you find the same note on the 5th string you are in the 4th position. I'm starting to string it together 🙂
Growing up listening to a lot of bluegrass and a lot of mountain music in North Georgia that a minor cut to a seven and then you putting our superimposing the minor pentatonic over it sounds a lot like those runs that we would do in that kind of music
Sean: a musician friend of mine and myself tend to love the minor flavored chords that result in sad sounding ballads/songs. We laugh thinking of it and coined: Sucker For The Sad. Lmao 🤣 All in fun 😎😁
I like the "Sean Daniel's Journey of Sadness" - needs to be a series. Thanks for the lesson - really love it. Question: Do people play Am7 over G (that is fretting the third fret of the low E string)?
Sean - I feel like visiting your home one day and playing all these my dream beautiful guitars ❤️😁😁😁. He he.. Loved this Guitar ❤️ , Crisp and clear sound 👌. And EXCELLENT lesson as always ❤️🙏🙏🙏. Thanks for sharing 😊
Sean…maybe you can play the role of the home town guitar playing minister who everyone loves. Of course, the lead actress wishes you weren’t a minister…what tension!
Oxygen that's the channel you want to shoot for not Hallmark but oxygen I could see you on there I mean they tend to like men very much it seems but you want to be the DB boyfriend you probably fit right in there and they are all about the spice allegedly

Excellent lesson! Thanks for making it easy to understand!
Elixer is the best.
Without question.
A big step up from my 80s favorite blue steel

Good stuff there, thanks
Happy to help!
I’ve been looking for an idea to spice up my acoustic playing for a while, I can feel a new phase coming on!
Thanks for your ideas, very nice! 👍

its more melancholy than sad sean,,, keep your
chin up my friend, good things come to he,,,,😎🤔👍

Long Train Runnin' by Doobie Brothers is a good one to practice those am7 barre hammer-ons.
uh huh... showing your age, mr. hansen. (but yep, same here.)
@@BarneysBullit Lol, anyone still wanting to learn guitar is showing their age!
@@hansenmatthewt true dat.
good friend very helpfull
Happy to help!
I have been in several Hallmark movies and it's because i have been on a low salt no spice diet. Take note Sean Daniel.
I don’t talk about it much anymore, but I was deep into the relative minor game - i mean deep
You do have the genuine feel of a small town country singer who comes back home to marry the girl he met when he was 6.
Salty country comment of the week 🤣
and OF COURSE the wedding takes place in a) a pumpkin farm b) a winery vineyard c) a chocolate shoppe d) ski lodge
Sean would never be tied to a single woman he’s in a musically Poly relationship Brugh
that Dm7 kinda sounds like the intro to Long Train Running.
Super lesson
Hammer on like the beginning of Father and Son
Reminded me of Dan Fogelberg’s “Missing You” for a second. At least rhythmically, not sure if he uses minor 7 or not.
Actually a very great tips
11:00 is really good

Come on Hallmark! Give this man a role already!
The last run sounds very close to harmonic minor?
The Hallmark Christmas is coming soon,im sure hallmark just hasn't found a fitting role to showcase your special tallent. Thanks sean
I tried that had a very difficult time landing my fingers at the same time that's a tricky move when you got the bar in place it was for me anyways
Sean, much like bra Jenga (you can't win if you don't play, or just toy around with the bras), you can't get your hallmark role if you don't audition.
I audition everyday ;)
You just need to find the minor 7 version of the hallmark channel . Then you'd be a lock!
How do I get out of sadness?
O wow that is one of the most hilarious jokes yet ... CUBT
There are other strings than Black Diamond????
I go on a Journey of Sadness every time I listen to Joy Division but can't stop listening
Maybe if you fix the bed head😂. Just kidding, my friend, I wish I had that much hair! Enjoy your lessons, thanks.
Trust me, someday the look will catch on
Forget the Hallmark channel, try the Playboy channel.
Could be Steve Martins little brother.
I was thinking maybe a Rob Zombie movie....😆
We need to get you in a Hallmark Movie.
If you're into that kind of thing, the relative minor game
Why do you do that thing with your voice?
Can you give us your most embarrassing memory playing guitar, something you think back on and just cringe?
Hey don’t bother with that film star bull your doing fine as a human
Anything on El kabong I kid
Haha, bringing back the El Kabong references
For the Hallmark thing, I'll have my people call your people.
Pretty clearly you did not get the role because of the F-sharp. Give it up Hallmark boy.
i wonder if down deep inside you are crying out for help.
Oxygen that's the channel you want to shoot for not Hallmark but oxygen I could see you on there I mean they tend to like men very much it seems but you want to be the DB boyfriend you probably fit right in there and they are all about the spice allegedly
Bud, you just need to find Hallmark's Harvey Weinstein and swallow...uh, your pride.
Doobies bro
