I agree, but I think that she had to be this prepared. The Spanish royals have the smallest working members and Princess Leonor has been a great tool in rehabbing the Spanish family’s image.

My favorite Royal is Princess Charlotte of Wales. She is going to grow up as a combination of; the strength of PR Anne, the compassion of her mother, as wisdom of her father, regalness of QEII, the spirit of P Phillip and the kindness of Diana.

Usually ladies don’t wear tiaras until they are married. Their first tiara is worn on their wedding day.
@@annettewalter2273 Princesses have appropriate tiaras for them to wear, commensurate to their stature!..European princesses have worn them in state banquets, as in the case of princess Ingrid Alexandra of Norway during her 18th birthday celebration which was delayed by a year due to the Pandemic and Princess Amalia of the Netherlands during a state banquet held in honor of the Spanish King and queen's state visit to the Netherlands.. We've also seen the Imperial Princesses of Japan wearing tiaras at state functions..The Spanish floral tiara and the Mellerio shell tiara were worn by the Spanish infantas when they were unmarried young princesses..

I didn't know that The Crown Prince was born on June 28th. The big 3-0 is a blessing.
Now for the royal fashion: First off is Queen Leticia of Spain wearing a white top and a maxi skirt colored in pink and lavender. She worn this outfit when holding an audience. I like this outfit alot its feminine, breezy, and light.
Princess Rajwa Al Hussein of Jordan wore a light yellow dress with diamond earrings in a portrait. Her best feature is her baby bump I hope to see the baby shower soon.
Prince Albert II of Monaco wore a red suit jacket with white pants and a striped necktie. Princess Charlene of Monaco wore in an all white pantsuit, with a gold brooch and diamond earrings. They are at a presentation of the Olympic athletes going to Paris.
Hereditary Grand Duchess Stephanie of Luxembourg wore a bright orange maxi dress with florals on it. I hate this dress! Not only is it a bright orange but its also in an unflattering silhouette. Grand Duchess Maria Theresa must given it to Stephanie to wear.
Speaking of Maria Theresa, She wore a hot pink maxi dress with a cape and built in sleeves. I love the color but this is a bright pink dress for national day, It's not good. I don't even know what the colors of the Luxembourg flag are. Who wears pink during their country National day?
Queen Mathilde of Belgium is wearing a blue and yellow dress in a tribal pattern. It's okay it not my favorite dress the queen.
Queen Maxima of the Netherlands wore a beige blush pink dress with a matching hat. I like on her, but its not my favorite dress. But I love her hat.
Queen Mary of Denmark with a blue pantsuit with pinstripes when she and King Frederik X congrats Crown Prince Christian for graduating from Oror gymnasium. Congratulations Your highness!

I wanted to attend the ceremony; however, getting into the city and security is going to be very, very difficult. Most of my friends who live in the city have already left for a long weekend since many businesses will be closed on Monday. 🙂

The system of choosing the head of the National Assembly is complicated and causes the attending heads of state invited to have no idea if they would even WITNESS an installation . This year they were lucky. It was only about 2 hours late. One year, they all just left to go back to their own countries. Very embarrassing! Outsiders don’t always understand the lack of “sticking to a timetable” in Latin America. But it’s the norm here.

Regarding your question, it is tradition for the Sovereign to attend the inaugurations of Presidents in Central and South America. There are strong historical and bilateral ties between the Kingdom of Spain, Central and South America as well as in the Caribbean.
According to the Ministerio de Cultura de España:
"Spain is one of the main investors in Ibero-America and has a prominent presence in key sectors of the development and social modernisation process, such as banking, energy, communications, construction and infrastructure management, tourism and public service provision. Spain considers it is essential not only to reinforce dialogue and cooperation in order to contribute to the institutional strengthening of Ibero-American nations, but also to support effective economic reform processes that promote growth and favour the redistribution of wealth and equity.
Another of Spain's ongoing priorities continues to be the strengthening of trade and investment relations between the European Union and Ibero-America and the Caribbean, in a scenario of growing international competitiveness, working resolutely to perfect and complete the extensive network of Association agreements between the two regions.
Spain's role in Ibero-America is also reinforced by our participation in various Ibero-American multilateral organisations as observers. This is the case of the Organisation of American States (OAS), since February 1972, or the Latin American Integration Association (ALADI), since November 1982. Spain also has observer status in the Central American Integration System (SICA), since 2004, and in the Andean Community of Nations (CAN), since 2011. Great news Princess Leonor to carry her first engagement to Portugal, that girl is lovely her parents must be proud that at a young age she pretty much handles herself beautifully. So happy Princess Anne is now home recuperating. I would love to be part of the Luxembourg parties, they are so cheerful and the hostess is just lovely Maria Teresa, love her pink outfit. Congratulations to the winner of the Africa Price from Tanzania, the lady has helped so many women, she deserves her recognition. Maxima! my favorite no doubt.
