75 years after this icon in horology was created, I felt in love of it thanks to Christopher Nolan's film sage known as "The Dark Knight" (alusive to the Batman's character). For many people a holly-grail is to get a nice Rolex, in fact I fancy its GMT Master II, but without any doubt my personal holly-grail is the Jaeger- LaCoultré's 'Reverso'. This amazing exposition in Paris, also a city wich I loved to visit in several occasion, demonstrates the high level of compromise, perfection and understanding of this amazing brand. Thank you, once more, Señor Alexander! Saludos!!!
Hello Alexander, I wanted to let you know that after much hard work and savings - I was able to secure myself a Reverso Tribute Nonantième. Thank you for sharing this video, it makes me very happy to see Jaeger JeCoultre in the spotlight. Take care my friend.
@@WatchAdvisor I must thank you and Matthieu. The JLC Staff have been such a delight and so patient with the process, I am expected to receive it from the Dubai Boutique (as it is the closest to me), between February and March. I will keep you updated and email you photographs once I have it. Keep us updated with the marvellous content, always a pleasure. Thank you and Take care.
@@WatchAdvisor and I believe made movements at different times for the other 3. The Reverso night & day is a masterpiece. And I also love the fact they produce a lot of their watches in stainless steel & not just in precious metals.
Hi Alexander. Hope all is well? As always, you and your team have made a super video. Unfortunately, I can not come down to Paris in December. But I hope to see you soon in another watch context . The warmest Christmas greetings, Jakob Grøndahl.
I would love to visit this exhibition, it would really make my day. Unfortunately after another recent surgery I will have to pass. Thank you Alexander for sharing this as at least I get to see some of what I will miss. At least I have my Reverso Duoface to keep me company.
Get well soon! There will for sure be another occasion ... And you can always visit Jaeger-LeCoultre in the Vallée de Joux... If you need any help, please let me know...
@@WatchAdvisor Many thanks Alexander. Much appreciated. My bucket list includes visits to as many Swiss (and others) brands to be able to fully appreciate the great effort that goes into the creation of the wonderful mechanical machines that can tell us how late we are for an appointment. 😊
Alexander, your presentation , as expected. ;-) JAY JAY LA KOOT TRA (Aussie translation) certainly puts on a show. I cannot wait so view some in person (supply problems and Aussie Beer Long weekend) not with standing :-( Stay safe.

Thanks for your feedback! I will update my equipment with one - yes! I am not very often doing such live reportages alone, so I am still "learning". Normally Jorge my cameraman is with me... in this case it was on short notice and we decided that I'll do both... the filming and narration...
There are a few models also featuring a date indication... with the rectangular case the only way to do it correctly is with a big date indication though... this is of course expensive ...
Hi Alexander, I didn't understand how I could register for the workshop ? I have already visited the exhibition. A warm thank you for all your inspiring videos !
Loved your video as always. JLC is respected but as long as they allow their AD's to discount the watches they will always be secondary to many. Not a big fan of Rolex but most must learn from them.

Love your comment! Thanks for sharing our passion!
I've always loved the style of the 20s and 30s, and the Reverso still keeps that style alive today.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us! Let me add the following: the Reverso,to be precise, is timeless… it is a style icon…
Thank you Alexander for the comprehensive coverage of the rich JLC reverso for we to see..... Good video.
For me the Reverso is the ONLY rectangular watch ... if one wants to discover its universe, Paris is the place to be...
Totally agreed. Whenever anybody talks about rectangular timepiece, reverso alway the 1st one cross my mind, second will be Cartier Tank.
The Cartier "Tank" does not have the same appeal to me as the "Reverso".
@@WatchAdvisor totally.....

JLC, please make a large Reverso sports model on rubber and bracelet.
I tell them all the time to bring the Reverso Sport back again… that was a real cool watch IMHO…
... and with a rotating bezel 😂.

My favourite watch company. Have always preferred JLC to Patek, AP & Vacheron. One of the giants of the industry.
In a way jaeger-LeCoultre is a sleeping giant... The manufacturer is extremely underestimated by collectors...

Correct! Jaeger-LeCoultre was delivering calibres to Audemars Piguet, Patek Philippe and Vacheron Constantin! They don't need to hide from anyone!!!

Nobody knew how the vintage watch sector would develop at that time...
