I´m interested in making my own clamping tool. I have a 3D printer and I´m an AutoCAD and SolidWorks user. I need some help about the desing. Can you help me?
Hi, I printed it from thingiverse, I upscaled it to what i really thought was the perfect measurements, But its just not working for me on normal old fashioned Round 26 oz (700ml) Whisky Bottles. I've cracked a barrel of my first 3 years aged whisky i started back in 2020, Really need a solution. The whisky caps are Diameter 27mm x 34mm deep, The break away security tab is 6mm starts from 28mm until the bottom at 34mm. I scaled it to have the lower Convex grip of your tool 1mm below the start of the security tab, Get a good squeeze because it's scaled in on the x, and y Axis also. Where am I going wrong?? Is Maybe the Position of the Ridges on the Glass bottle a factor?? The Glass Threaded top of the bottle has its larger Diameter rite down till 33mm, So the Bottles Ridge is not perfectly aligned with the Beginning of the Break away security tabs.... Perhaps that's the issue???
