    Fantastic outcome! I felt like Jacques Cousteau watching this coral grow. I think I'll have a bash and incorporate some fish like Nemo and Dori

    Great video one more. Do you use these wonderful brushes for other art or only alcohol techniques xx

    • @AlainaJensen
      @AlainaJensen  4 роки тому +1

      Hi Denise, thank you! I mostly use these brushes for alcohol ink art though I have seen other people use them in lots of different ways like using them with liquefy or other effects for other abstract techniques, drawing flowers, creating textures to use a clipping mask for a stained glass effect on flowers, etc. you can join the Facebook group and watch my Instagram stories for lots more inspiration as I am constantly re-sharing and tagging other artists who have done cool things with the brushes.

    This is so beautiful! When I whatching to this video I am happy that I have your brushes. But one question: wich colors did you used. I like al the colors And I know that the color change brushes the colors automaticly the colors changed. But how much colors did you used And wich colorpalet.

    • @AlainaJensen
      @AlainaJensen  4 роки тому +1

      Thank you! I used two colors only: a peachy pink color as the primary and navy blue as the secondary. Sorry I don’t remember which palettes they are from specifically 😬 but thank you for the question, I will try and be more clear about which colors and palettes I am using in subsequent videos.

    Gorgeous art and brushes! I’m interested in buying the whole bundle on your gumroad site but another website, creative market, has loads of your brush packs too and their being sold with various licences. Do the gumroad ones have the same license? I’d buy the commercial licensed products if it means I can say , sell a drawing that used these brushes? I’m just not sure which to get from. Could you maybe advise which would be best as I have no desire to cause issues.

    • @AlainaJensen
      @AlainaJensen  4 роки тому

      Thanks so much for your interest and for checking on the license. On my website/gumroad, the commercial license is already built into all the prices there, and it is more permissive than the regular commercial license on creative market actually. This means that as a small business, with my license, you can sell unlimited art pieces made with the brushes and there are no limits on social media usage. You can read more about my license on alainajensen.com/license - but the short version is that it’s probably the one you want rather than the creative market license.

      Ah thank you for telling me this. I was a bit worried as I sometimes draw private commission for people and have used various bought brushes to create the drawings with no copyright issues but thought I would check to avoid any upset. I have no intent to resell brushes or anything. It was just the art I do for myself, others privately and fanart for various things I like. No business company stuff or anything similar.

      @@sarahbrown4917 That sounds absolutely fine! I've made my license specifically with small business/artists in mind, to empower you to sell your artwork and build your business without any worries about license requirements.

    Love the nails. Have you thought to match your nail color to the colors in the artwork. ha ha. The yellow is nice, really pops but not in an overwhelming way. The artwork is pretty too. Makes me want to go scuba diving!! Ahhhhh.

      I've definitely thought of that and tried it a few times, it's so nice to have 10 tiny canvases I can carry around with me all the time 🤣 Though when I have someone else do it I think I'm definitely a nightmare client, too many opinions! 😅

    Beautiful Alaina! Question, is the background just ordinary black? I am guessing you just filled it at the beginning. Also, are those adjustments at the end available on Google Photos as well? I use it more often then the other one.

    • @AlainaJensen
      @AlainaJensen  4 роки тому

      Thank you! Yes it’s just pure black, I probably should have had that part in the video but I just changed the background layer to from the default white to black. I’m not sure about google photos.

    Hello aleine thanks a lot for another amazing video. My only problem is that even if I select 2 colors even if I tilt my pensil, the color doesn't change. 😭 Why do you think it is.? Thanks a lot

    • @AlainaJensen
      @AlainaJensen  4 роки тому +1

      Hey Isabella! Oh no, I’m sorry to hear that. I’ve heard from some people that if your pencil tip is worn out, the tilt doesn’t work, so that might be the issue? Those people said that getting a new tip helped the problem.

      @@AlainaJensen thanks Alaina. I don't think it's my case but when I have tried with another brush it worked.. Maybe I should try to reload the brushes..

    • @AlainaJensen
      @AlainaJensen  4 роки тому +1

      Isabella Biava - Boundless Roads Ok as long as you have the updated brushes (“Alcohol Ink 2.0”) and you’re sure your pencil tip is not worn out, they should be changing color when you tilt. If you’re still having trouble after reloading, send me an email and we will sort it out 👍

    My brush isnt changing colors. I have 2 different colors in the upper right hand corner when you select the color wheel. What am i doing wrong? I have added a new layer on top of the black background.

    • @AlainaJensen
      @AlainaJensen  3 роки тому +1

      I'm glad to hear you're loving the brushes! I'm not sure, if you're not using an apple pen that could be why, or it can also do with which colors you choose or how much pressure you apply. You're welcome to send me a message at hello@alainajensen.com if you need some support!

    So I don't see the pattern when I use the brushes...is there a way to turn that on

    • @AlainaJensen
      @AlainaJensen  4 роки тому

      The first thing to check would be whether you are working with the same brushes that I am - the brush set is called “Amazing Alcohol Ink” and the patterns are built in, no need to change any setting. I have a stamp set called Inky Ethereal, and also a free brush set, and they are not the same as the brushes I am using here. If that’s not the issue and you are using the right brushes, please send me an email and we can continue troubleshooting 😊
