Thanks for the hacks video! I've always used the Light box but recently, when I had to work on a black envelope, I used the graphite hack, it works great!
@maryannault I have a handwriting business and I use the lightboard daily. I wouldn't write a note without it! I've also used the laser for darker paper. Love the idea of the laser board -- I got to get one of those! Your videos are always so helpful. Thank you for doing what you do!
I like to use a light pad/box. I did use the graphite hack once, but I prefer the light pad. I also use a light pencil line especially when doing envelopes.
My neighbor just gave me some old office supplies, including a box of carbon paper. I like the other ideas, I've used graphite, and I'd love to have a light box. Why don't we use carbpn paper any more?
I have a reflection item I have used for italic calligraphy for around 20 years. I don’t remember what it’s called. I cannot find it on Amazon now. It is plastic with two clear plastic in a “v” shape. It came with different lined strips with different width lines on heavy paper . I find it difficult to learn the different style calligraphy . Also 31 plus years using regular handwriting interferes in my brain and muscle memory.
Hi Becca, the laser square you use, the company now makes a vertical and the horizontal laser line square.

Very helpful hacks...thank you!

Great hacks. With the graphite it’s much quicker to scribble the back and be precise on the front to transfer. Xx
Good hacks.
I use both graphite transfer and tape, depending on size and surface.
Great tips & hacks. Thank you. I use a lightbox & have used chalk transfer onto a black canvas before. Will watch laser lever vids.
Thanks for the tip about the lightbox, really neat & portable. B
Great tips/hacks! Hope you’re feeling well. Yes, I’ve used most of these tips because I’ve learned them from your previous tutorials. 🙋🏻♀️😊
Have you tried using 2 laser levels -- one on the right side of the paper and one on the left to create the baseline and waistline??

Hi, how can I practice calligraphy when using ballpoint pen?
