covid rules at this point make no sense here aswell. people be going to a crowded stadium 30k people no one wearing mask then you get yelled at if more than 5 people in a coffee store afterwards
Definitely makes sense. The shops are easier to enforce and usually the owners will have much to lose from getting covid in their stores. The arenas and stadiums still have the rules in place but are much harder to enforce with all of the people; allowing the attendees to not have a mask at their own risk.
Twitch here in their Rivals event know how terrible the press and repercussions will be if any of these high profile streamers catch covid.

@@gnm4 well said. It's clear that many of these commenters don't understand the seriousness of covid or how quickly it can spread from even one person being negligent. The streamers are by no means careful so Twitch has to keep an eye on them for their own good.

@@gnm4 If shops tend to have more to lose by gaining covid, then why does the government need to step in and forcefully set-up parameters. I have no problems with companies regulating their own space, I'm not fine with government doing it. Reason is because when a company does it I have a choice whether I offer them my money for their services or not. When the government does it, I have to follow along regardless whether I disagree all the while they still have a right to take taxes. The decision for what you should do with your health should fall on the individual, even if it's a bad one, not some-sort of higher being casting down judgement.

Yeah there was like a week when they reimplemented the mandate a few months back, but since then people literally couldn’t give less of a shit.
I’ve been down to the strip at least 50+ times since then, not masked, not vaxed, nobody gives a shit and I haven’t been sick in well over 5 years.

I enjoyed watching Soda/Russel. First day Soda raging on Russell was hilarious and second day I was cheering for those two in the games. For me it was a lot of fun.
