This was always inevitable. The new trend for streamers will actually be to *not* go to TwitchCon. To big streamers, it feels more like an obligation than a legitimate desire to want to attend. Also, Twitch as a platform is under more scrutiny than ever from its creators and viewers, so you could look at it as somewhat of a boycott. We certainly can't forget that streamers are notorious for being "too cool" for events like this. You can actually see a bit of that in this video.
To be fair, this is literally a big studio set up and they have party games I haven't played since I was 12. This is for grown adults, having to be family friendly so jokes are not possible
Chance and Nick are absolute legends to me.. I basically grew up watching them and I fully understand how and why they couldnt care less about twitch con. They and Byron paved the way for SO many peoples careers and while they sure make good bank they still have to deal with these new age kids and their bullshit..
