Cool! We had a compilation record with Buddy Spitcher fiddling. He hollered out something about "Honk the horn for him to get outa the way"
Oh, and also, Stuart played for us on a young girl's fiddle outside the tour bus near Carowinds. I saw Roland White too.

Love the way he is working his way through the Kentucky Colonels' repertoire with these sessions.

A real joy that speaks to my soul. You guys do so well. Thank you for sharing your talent with the rest of us. We love it here in Missouri.

Wonderful: I waited for the woodpecker, the only bird I could reproduce on a fiddle.

There’s something oddly Twin Peaks about this. It feels as though everyone has just appeared and started playing without knowing how they arrived there. The bass player was either ecstatic about the whole situation or genuinely terrified. You normally only see unblinking smiles like that on hostage videos.

I recall Grier from 70s when he was awesome. Still damn good but perhaps lost a touch. After all its almost 5 decades!

Grier was born in 1961 and didn't start playing professionally until the 1980s.

Fiddle is way loud in the mix and too bright,David’s guitar alittle behind. Just my .02 cents. Thanks for uploading

Your 2 cents can purchase a lot. I think that they were working so hard at producing a Kentucky Colonels sound that they missed some basics. (This doesn't mean that I admire them any less as musicians.)

The banjo-picker looks like he's in pain most of the time.
