You should get Alex on and make a quick video on just mango fertilization and the various copper spraying etc. The whole disease and pest prevention is a pretty complex process so would be nice to see a consolidated video on the full topic. Some of your videos hit on it but I haven’t seen a fully dedicated one.
I'm happy to see you back! I love your videos, please keep it going! I admire your consistency in publishing videos! Thank you very much for all your work!
Paul I have 7 lemon meringue trees, same year you made this video I only got maybe 12 to 15 mangos total on 7 big lemon meringue trees.i usually get hundreds of mangos most years. 13:46
Trees are looking good Paul, I also had a handful of trees decide to flower late, it might have been from all the overcast/rain we had on the gulf coast in Nov/Dec. Happy growing
It's about 15 ft tall now. I purchased it from Excalibur 4 years ago, and it was about 10ft tall when I planted it. Last year I got about 30 mangos from it. It has double the fruit on it now compared to this time last year. I don't hear a lot of people mention this variety, but it's one of my favorites when perfectly ripe (very short window).@@FruitfulTrees
Paul I have 7 hugh lemon meringue trees only 2 so at has totally flowered and one just starting to flower. I didn’t trim any of the 7 last year. Its just a lemon meringue thing this year.its still not to late.
My friends have a mature LM/PPK tree. I would say it tends to be alternate-bearing. A lot of years with nothing. We cut the tree back to 15 feet recently, as it was taking over their small backyard, so, of course, it won't have any fruit this year. Thanks for the heads-up about mango tasting at TAF on Father's Day. I hope to be there this year!
Thinking about it now, last year was loaded and the year before there was very little and the year before was loaded so I think you are oorrect LM/PPK may be alternate bearing. I will check with Alex
Love the videos. The wife and I have been watching for a while now. We up in Savannah, ga area and looking for inexpensive varieties. Any suggestions on places to get some good varieties without breaking the bank. 1-3 gal pots. Thanks in advance!
Wow...looks like you have 30+ trees. You are going to be loaded. Do you do anything to try to combat squirrels, or do you just let them get their share?
How big do you let your trees run in the planters before they are ready to plant? I keep having bad luck putting my mango trees in the ground, but in containers they are thriving.
I try to get them in the ground as soon as Possible but I ran out of room so now do not have a choice but to keep them in planters. They always should do better in the ground
I ask myself the same thing. I really like it but the real reason was the space it was too close to other trees. But I did just get a golden NDM I'm going to plant in another yard or keep in the pot

My pineapple pleasure mango tree (also in WPB) did really well last year and it has a lot of small fruit setting now.
how big is the tree? How old is it. When you say it did well about how many mangos did you get last year?

Hi Paul, I'm wondering if you add potassium every year, or do you not fertilize?
I am just getting into spraying. I just did copper. I have not yet sprayed potassium.
I’m curious to know, why did you take out the Nam doc Mai ?
I ask myself the same thing. I really like it but the real reason was the space it was too close to other trees. But I did just get a golden NDM I'm going to plant in another yard or keep in the pot
Thanks . Great videos…. Keep uploading!
Hey Paul are your lemon meringes usually an alternating bearer? Thanks
Good question. Thinking about it, maybe but I'm checking with Alex to see what he says
