These should be available as rentals for beginners looking to have fun for a few days. So much easier than regular length skis and you truly don’t need more ski for groomed runs. I love that you are exposing the lie that you need long skis.
I independently teach friends, family and acquaintences to ski on skiboards/snowblades, the learning curve from wedge to carve is literally 10 minutes and the rest of the day we are wreaking havoc all over the mountain!
Shorter is always better for park fun, whether on skis or snowboards (I'm "supposed" to ride a 163+ length snowboard, but I rarely ever rode above a 155-157 because I love 'em squirrel-y)...Looking forward to getting a pair of these little speed demons to see if there's yet another way I can injure myself on snow. Can't wait!
I only snowboard cause i hate ski shoes, but miss the feeling of rollerblades... Its an awesome idea to have made fixations for snowboard shoes ! I dont even have to buy new shoes, thx alot !
I used to ski on this as a teenager in the 90s on the classic Salomon snowblades. I'm lucky I didn't get injured on those! There's alot of very debetable affirmation in this clip.
ive tried regular ski's and was terrible at it. Back in the late 90's and early 2000' i was big into aggressive inline. I imagine these things are similar? what would you recommend? I was trash at regular long ski's
I would suggest the 90 or 99 cm. Super easy and will have a little more flex over bumps. I learned with cheap 90cm and just this year moved to 110cm to help smooth the terrain. I sucked big time at skiing but these made it so easy. I used non-release bindings for a few years on my 90cm with no problem. They are nice because they are light but I was always worried about injuries.
Does anyone here have a preference using ski boots with bindings or snowboard boots with snowboard (soft boot) bindings? I need help understanding which is best for an intermediate level skier. Thanks.
Snowboard boot bindings are better because the snowboard boots are more comfortable, your feet don't hurt like hell, you can walk like easily from the parking lot or in the restaurant, staris... The riding experience could be a bit different for everybody, but in general snowboard boots give you more flexibility and freedom of movement whereas ski boots give you a bit more strength in turns and high speed, but if you're not racing, you really don't need that. So for recreational use, I personally definitely prefer snowboard boots.
I'm going to wager that because with these little rockets you're tending to move your lower legs+feet around a lot more at different angles, or more abruptly in order to initiate turns, and therefore turning more frequently, etc, that the stiffness of ski boots would cause them to be considerably more uncomfortable; whereas the materials used for SB boots would make for a more comfortable experience (more elastic)...BUT, as the Snowfeet Team mentioned, at higher speeds the hard boots are where it's at for stability...I guess it depends on what kind of "mini skiing" you want to do: High speed down hill and big carving? Go ski boots. Lots of tricks and messing around hopping features and doing spins ,etc? Go SB boots.
My skiboards got me off the greens and on the blues and blacks. Yet my family is still telling me to go back to regular 🎿, no thanks I’m having too much fun.
Thank you for making a much more, comprehensive video about my favourite winter sport; Skiboarding

I would always choose short skis over long skis - so much easier, more freedom of movement and fun!
You ever make your own trails with these?
sure, just pick a bit longer ones, like 99cm long model and longer, + wider shape helps
Until you find ice

Awesome video, we love short skis and ski blades
I ride summit marauder 125’s. Funnest skis I’ve ever had.

I've always wondered what the difference between skiboards and snowblades is 😁🙈..now I know that it's the same thing 😁
“Snowblades” was Salomon’s trademarked name for their narrow, foam-core skiboards. It’s like calling tissues ‘Kleenex.’
@@drewmartorelli8379 or more relatably, Rollerblades (begin a brand name) vs inline skates (being the object itself)
What is the top speed of the 65cm?
I’ve used head skiboards 93cm, LOVE LOVE LOVE THEM. I have gotten a lot of flack about them. I don’t care
I'm wondering about how these would handle in the glades?
Have the short ones and the 65cm, wish they made 50something cm I'm ready to grind rails!

If you prefer a skating experience on the snow, skiskates (44 cm) or skiboards 65 cm would be the best for you 😉

Go with twin tips, it's closer to roller blading and more forgiving. If you can't ride twintips, you can't rollerblade.

Yes, it is the biggest lie 😢. I’m loving my 120s from u guys!
@00:40 did he say, "... there's *snow* difference..."? 😆
I saw other snowboard binding has a third strap at shin, but snowfeet brand has no such strap. Is it necessary?
Great question :) No, it's not, you get enough ankle support thanks to the snowboard boot itself, and 2 straps are enough for a secure attachment.
Can i wear Burton Step On boot to fit in snowfeet skiboard (with SB binding)?
Step in boots should work with any standard binding.
@@kylelitwacktep on boot has a click at boot head, and has a hook at boot back. I just wonder if it can fit in snowfeet binding
been using 120 cm short ski for over 20 year . went the last 2 year on regular 170cm ski and all the fun was gone .
Rvl8 - "So you make skiboards now?" Rvl8 been in the game longer doin it better. I learned that from experience
I love my revl8 revolt.
😍
lenght
does anyone know if they prefer the 90 cm or the 99 cm ???????
Almost the same, the longer the more similar to regular long skis 😉
I just got the 99’s can’t wait to test them out.
@@micahmarz so did you try them? how was it?
