Thanks for the video. Decided to buy skates and a stick after not playing for 15 years. None of us kids had a coach or a team and none could lift the puck which was super frustrating. Trying it out tomorrow :)
1:50 I dont agree. I find it much easier to shoot with the puck at the toe of the stick, if you are lifting the puck. Also, your bottom hand does most of the work, so this video kind of confused me. But still a great channel that deserves more subs.
In my opinion, from this close to the net, chipping the puck is the better option, because it has a much quicker release and it is easier to get a steeper angle. If you are driving top the net fast, you won’t have time for a fully fledged wrist shot.
If your that close pass the puck or go around the net and pass it in front you will almost never score like that because the other team won't give u that time and space
Feel sorry for the goalie lool he was just there chillin'
very informative but 90% is talking and not enough actually showing. It would be much better to show us first and then explain.
Hope this'll help me next week, hate not being able to lift the puck.
Same I can’t ether
Did it work?
@@K0J0K yes but I needed to practice on ice
Is it difficulty for an 8 year old kid, because of lacking of power?
Get shooting pad and you could practice in your garage, backyard or somewhere outdoor.

J. Smith why would your bottom hand do most of the work? you don't even need your bottom hand for this to happen
Yeah I know I said that back when I had improper form....I fixed it now Curtis I
I think it depends on the kind of stick. Some sticks have a higher or lower sweet spot than others
wow this helps a lot, thanks for making these videos
Tommy Malone Thank you for watching.
no problem, thanks for giving the helpful tips
Minecraft?? FUCKING MINECRAFT?????? You fucking nerd!!!
Good video breakdown. Many thanks

Awesome video again dude
yes :-)
Good video but shooting off the toe in this situation will make it much easier to lift the puck
Goalie seems so bored lol
Exactly what I thought XD
Luv your pic :D peepeee I’m on my moms ac
Can't wait to try it out. Still hoping for a goal and I've been playing for 2 years almost :( :( :(
Alison, it has been four years now since you started hockey. Please tell us, have you scored yet?
Alison its been 7 years, have you scored yet?
@@kyubba2675 LOL I did! (once) I stopped playing for a long time and just started again a few weeks ago. :) :)
Allie, head up- your time just comming;-)
I'm 51 and just started
Thank you soooooo much
Ive been using my bottom hand for stickhandling ever since is started and i have no problems
Creepy Chair is just down to personal preference, you will have better shot power than most players but slightly weaker stick handling
Iv'e done both top hand almost doubles my speed and makes it less choppy
Thx
snap shot top shelf
deserve more subs :)
Thanks for the kind words.
i subscribed
cool
My biggest issue. I'll try this at a stick and puck session this week.
okay I'm going to try your way because I can barley lift it
good tuition - just reduce the length - make it 2 minutes!
Why is the goalie ‘s name Baccon?
There's a typo in the description
Yes, lion. Yes there is
The other guy when he shots, do the opposite move in his skates
no goalie were harmed during the footage
If your that close pass the puck or go around the net and pass it in front you will almost never score like that because the other team won't give u that time and space
And you are not going to be standing still there this is not very helpful
+Ryan B I agree with you
It never works for me I'm doing everything your saying
Electric Wild did you still not get it
would u guys stop complaining about the goalie
That is one steamy goalie.
Nice video, but as a goalie, i might cover it right there.
no
Not if you were mocing and there was no defence
Yes.
no.............
yes.....
Many words
Go top corn or go home.
Noice
learn how to life ..? the puck?
I learned from a former NHL player and you're always supposed to shoot of the toe. And this dude probably plays men's league
No your not
It comes down to personal preference and depending on the curve you have
It doesn't matter my dad and my brother both play hockey my dad shoots from the heal and my brother shoots from the toe and the result is the same
Luke Whitenack who... stop bullshitting
