    very informative but 90% is talking and not enough actually showing. It would be much better to show us first and then explain.

      Is it difficulty for an 8 year old kid, because of lacking of power?

      Get shooting pad and you could practice in your garage, backyard or somewhere outdoor.

    Thanks for the video. Decided to buy skates and a stick after not playing for 15 years. None of us kids had a coach or a team and none could lift the puck which was super frustrating. Trying it out tomorrow :)

    1:50 I dont agree. I find it much easier to shoot with the puck at the toe of the stick, if you are lifting the puck. Also, your bottom hand does most of the work, so this video kind of confused me. But still a great channel that deserves more subs.

    • @Hawktotalwar
      @Hawktotalwar 9 років тому

      J. Smith why would your bottom hand do most of the work? you don't even need your bottom hand for this to happen

      I think it depends on the kind of stick. Some sticks have a higher or lower sweet spot than others

    In my opinion, from this close to the net, chipping the puck is the better option, because it has a much quicker release and it is easier to get a steeper angle. If you are driving top the net fast, you won’t have time for a fully fledged wrist shot.

    If your that close pass the puck or go around the net and pass it in front you will almost never score like that because the other team won't give u that time and space
