After that Blahnik tirade I was just dying for Louboutin to say, First I start with a mood board...lol!! I really love hearing all their different approaches to the creative process.
Just getting into shoe making and really appreciate Caroline Groves' artistry. I love how she is not only designing but crafting her footwear with her own hands as well.
A teacher said to me “mood boards are for other people, not the designer” and that’s what I live by, as a fashion designer. Because to me, the designs come when I sketch and the ideas are freeflowing. But other people don’t understand all my references and sewing techniques without visually seeing an origin
I am a shoe designer and just love this. All my ideas just come from sketching and just really looking and paying attention to everything around me… everything inspires me. Anyhow, o love shoes.
I am so happy that you are speaking about shoes. My shoe size is 12 w w. I have a difficult time trying to find shoes for myself. I like to wear a pretty shoes for my pretty clothes not gym shoes. I like the shoes in light colors not always black. I prefer the round toe shoe of the roaring twenty’s. Not a pointed toe shoes. When I was younger I ended up with the soft corn between the first and second toes because of the narrow toe shoes. I finally got rid of the corns. Can you help me to find shoes in Chicago, IL.? Thank you for speaking about shoes.🤓
Hello, I am a 27-year-old boy who started working in the field of shoe production in Iran. I am skilled in the production of women's shoes. I am looking for a job abroad. I learned how to produce shoes.
This video made me angry! You know what?? Why on Earth can’t much more interesting videos *LAST 13 WHOLE MINUTES,* such as cleaning of incredible oil paintings or watching people repair wool rugs or antique clothes or costumes or even curators talking about their areas of interest as they show us incredible and beautiful things?!? Sometimes these terribly fascinating and absorbing projects only get 3 minutes, which is crazy!! My other question is, *why in God’s name did you have shoe designers talk and talk and talk FOR 13 MINUTES* without showing any of their work (although the only designer I was interested in is the woman who uses a sewing machine!)?? Although I adore shoes, I’m not at all interested in these people _as people_ ....I want to *SEE WHAT THEY DO!!!!*
What kind of shoes are you looking for IMN Lightment Productions? (In case you still need a manufacturer) I've been in the shoe business forever, we can manufacture almost anything from flat shoes to western boots
Louboutin is one of the worst designers. Just cliche shiny, embellished heels, people buy bc the red back is instantly recognizable as expensive. But really they're boring or gaudy, cliche, average, arbitrary. He will never be on the level of Pierre Hardy and his work with Balenciaga (Nicolas Ghesquiere) which isn't really recognized as much
Hello! I'm a shoe designer and I loved the video. I would like to get in touch with people who can help me in this task of becoming a famous designer, because I have the talent I need, but I still do not have the right contacts. Someone?
TÉRCIO PASSOS try sending a pair to a celeb or tv anchor like on the Today show or Good Morning America if they like it they might put you on tv and you can go from there or try QVC shop at home network all the celebs go there hope this helps good luck aswell☺

How do you get paid for designing shoes? From the manufacturer?
from the brand asking you to design it, if you design for nike, you get paid by nike (not the factory)
so basically there is no exact process per sey... Just be crative and do what you want how you want! ✏️Got it.
3:40 💯
