Wait, Andy said that The Illuminati controls anything with triangles, the letter A has a triangle in, Andy has an A and Farrant has two As. Illuminati confirmed, I guess? Andy is The Illuminati?
Quality bridge building, I particularly like the fact that around 7:40 the bridge breaks and in the process the rest of the bridge became more stable. A truly magnificent design in my opinion.
+Stuart Finch and you probably wont survive the first test drive, especially if you're in the 2nd vehicle or if you have to test it with a tanker truck
For a while I was wired into this game. I steel play it every now and again, and I wood play it more, but I keep killing the people in it. There must be cement wrong with me, cars I just can't stop, and I'm surprised nobody's uncovered my trucks, because there's a dark secret I keep about this game.
Jane and Andy's thought process: Sure, at face value, the bridge seems like it'll cause fatalities. But we won't know for sure until we send people over it and see for ourselves.
"It mostly held together, for the entirety of its plunge down the ravine", the one sentence explanation to why Andy will never have a career in Civil Engineering
It really is the little things in life that make us happiest.. Like Andy saying " hey look it hasn't even collapsed a little bit." Or calling a bridge flawless that collapses after the first two test drivers go over it. And the strength of the almighty Triangle..
A big plaque on the bridge with Jane's quotes "Triangles are the strongest shape", "Safety First and can never be to safe." and "yea go, it's all green". Then under that will be the memorial to the hundreds of test drivers who lost their lives.
During no other video by @outsidexbox have I ever become as animated as I did watching this one. My wife actually came in and asked what I was yelling about lol. "NO, YOU HAVE TO CONNECT THE CROSSBEAM!! THE CROSSBEAM!!!!!!!!!"
That was much better than expected! Good challenge and can be super funny. Especially when playing this game around cringing structural engineers, too. :D
Andy and Jane building a brighter and better future in the world of architecture what on earth could go wrong ow ok that just happened did you two not pay attention in bridge making school I'm glad I was not jerry he a brave soul indeed to put his faith in your bridge making skills I hope you remember his family on your Christmas card list
I genuinely have a Bridge addiction. almost all I do in Minecraft is build awesome bridges with arches and houses on them. I use Google Sketchup and other 3d design programs to design awesome bridges. I find whatever bridge building games I can online and play them to death. Are there any support groups out there for people like me.
wait, the picture for the cables is rope. And that supporting 5 ton cars. well there's your answer everyone. Also Andy bridges are not just possible because of triangles.
Jane is still pissed about Mike saying that cars defy physics all the time and he hasn't been here for three videos. He must've gotten fired. You'll always be in our hearts Mike.
7:21 ha ha, sorry, but Jerry's not the idiot (I still love you guys). By the way, instead of cables tying triangle tips on top of the road, have the triangles below the the road with cables connecting their tips and held up by vertical end buildings under compression
Well here in Australia, saying "thanks" is a form of gratitude. I can understand that we're weird down here though. So in short, I was thanking you for teaching us something about cables
I feel like this is the kind of game I would want to play on an ipad or on my work computer when I should be filing reports. Fun, but not something for the home console, y'know?
People really don't give enough credit to bridge constructors, where would we be without them? Not across any gaps, that's for sure.
Well jumping is a thing
Yolo Swaggens You expect to jump a gap that only a bridge can fill?
TWPOPT of course
+TWPOPT That's what cheat codes are for
go another way round or swim
Wait, Andy said that The Illuminati controls anything with triangles, the letter A has a triangle in, Andy has an A and Farrant has two As. Illuminati confirmed, I guess? Andy is The Illuminati?
Jimmotep SHHH
+outsidexbox how much does this game cost?
Jimmotep Lower case A's don't count, illuminati unconfirmed :p
2 + 1 = 3, Halflumminati 3 confirmed
Ian Hopkins 8 pund
As an engineer this deeply pains me.
Loved the unconventional design of the final bridge, as well as the suicide drivers. Who would use that thing!
Quality bridge building, I particularly like the fact that around 7:40 the bridge breaks and in the process the rest of the bridge became more stable. A truly magnificent design in my opinion.
We need to Kickstarter Jane and Andy Bridge Construction Ltd!
Fa1con87 No, we really, really don't
for a million pounds a test drive ill be a tester.
+Jay Kovar lol its not that bad of an idea cause if you notice after a few fail attempts they will eventually succeed all they need is a huge budget
+Stuart Finch and you probably wont survive the first test drive, especially if you're in the 2nd vehicle or if you have to test it with a tanker truck
There's a lot of suspense in this video
PowderPlays The video structure Is great, it's foundations hold up really well
PowderPlays This video helped me Bridge the gap in my downtime
PowderPlays Ugh...UGHHH...Something, something, Suspense
PowderPlays BRIDGES!
The vehicle drivers wish there's was more tho'!
the first 2 minutes of this was KIIIILLLING me. its like watching someone new play something you are a veteran at ...
For a while I was wired into this game. I steel play it every now and again, and I wood play it more, but I keep killing the people in it. There must be cement wrong with me, cars I just can't stop, and I'm surprised nobody's uncovered my trucks, because there's a dark secret I keep about this game.
Bridge constructor: featuring...
RICO RODRIGUEZ!
Wait, wha- (explosions)
Jane and Andy's thought process: Sure, at face value, the bridge seems like it'll cause fatalities. But we won't know for sure until we send people over it and see for ourselves.
All those bridges, and I still can't get over this game.
I just love watching you guys play this game
"It mostly held together, for the entirety of its plunge down the ravine", the one sentence explanation to why Andy will never have a career in Civil Engineering
outsidexbox You guys deserve more credit. That bridge pun in the title was absolute genius.
The suspension is killing me!?Alfred hand me the pun sign.
U guys are the best when I watch u I cross so many bridges it's like we're connected our friend ship will never be red a will never collapse
Wow I used to play Bridge Builder in CAD class back in high school. Now I regret watching this since it reminded me of high school. Thanks...
I recall my heady days at Bridge College. It really helped me cross a void in my life
During no other video by @outsidexbox have I ever become as animated as I did watching this one. My wife actually came in and asked what I was yelling about lol. "NO, YOU HAVE TO CONNECT THE CROSSBEAM!! THE CROSSBEAM!!!!!!!!!"
I feel like while my art teacher would be proud of your creativity, my physics teacher would face palm your construction
Oxbox, you need to make more of this. Don't leave me...
"Hanging" 😀
I remember learning from the Magic School Bus that triangles are very strong shapes.
I used to play this a lot. It's really fun. There's a version called Bridge Constructor Playground with virtually no budget cap.
Those were some of the most terrifying bridges I've ever seen.
Jane's laugh is love
You'd definitely win an award for 'most creative design'... right up to the point where they see if it's actually functional, because science.
That was much better than expected! Good challenge and can be super funny. Especially when playing this game around cringing structural engineers, too. :D
Loved seeing Jane "strut" her stuff on this.
The pun in the title is just perfect
0:55 My first name is Lori so whenever I hear a British person say lorry I get momentarily confused.
I'm concerned about Jane's physics degree
Well, triangles are the second strongest shape, in a sense, as arches have the most weight distribution.
RIP mike channel you haven't been in the past 3 videos you will be missed
Dj29hawkings Is he still stuck in that secret room?
+badr0bot nah, they kicked him out of the studio for making that car video. Ill miss him.
I'm assuming you're kidding? I hope
+matthew iberger on his hols I think
+Dj29hawkings they've et him!
Please make more of this one. So funny :)
You know what you needed? Bridge Ballast.
I liked the video for the title pun alone
"What's everyone screaming about?"
Used to have a similar program when I was in technology class in like middle school lol
Imagine if REAL bridges were built like you guys built them. (CHAOS!)
This is my fav vid by you guys :D
Arches/circles are the strongest shape.
the last bridge looks like an alien with the diamond thingies as the eyes
The building authority called, they want to know where you guys got your bridge building license...
Ah, brings back repressed memories of the 35W bridge collapse. and 'Inception'
At least you guys are bridging your learning gap!
The puns hurt so badly even my cats cringed. You hurt my felines. :D
Liked the video before it even started due to the name!! 😂 had me creased!
Hilarious! I think you have some real creative potential
I need to upgrade on consoles and give this game a swing.Think I just may be a pro at this.
At about 2:49 I spat tea all over my monitor, thx guys :-D
Hey, for a rookie bridge builder a 50% success rate isn't too bad. And by "success" I mean survival.
You know what always helps me triangles in squares
Jane, was that app "Bridgy Jones?"
All this video taught me is that Andy and Jane are monsters.
The little tutorial builder guy at the start kind of looks like Andy in 20 years o.O
As an engineer, this video gives me PTSD flashbacks
i think im dying from the suspense
He outsidexbox nice vids!
wait, the picture for the cables is rope. And that supporting 5 ton cars. well there's your answer everyone. Also Andy bridges are not just possible because of triangles.
I see Andy majored in ramping it a bridge making college
Jane is still pissed about Mike saying that cars defy physics all the time and he hasn't been here for three videos. He must've gotten fired. You'll always be in our hearts Mike.
Well if Andy and Jane do take up bridge building at least we will have a good laugh at the bridge design before falling to our demise.
Andy at 10:36 OMG YES
U can get the same game on AppStore
I think the second vehicle is taking too literally the phrase, "If all your friends jump off a bridge, would you do it too?"
Lorry, maths. All our American friends over westwards must be so confused. Hah!
Andy and Jane leaving outsideXbox to pursue a career in structural engineering
I'm assuming that at only eleven minutes this video is the abridged version?
put.. put support under the bridge..
make a more of this. a lets play
7:21 ha ha, sorry, but Jerry's not the idiot (I still love you guys). By the way, instead of cables tying triangle tips on top of the road, have the triangles below the the road with cables connecting their tips and held up by vertical end buildings under compression
I feel like Jane's final words will be "How bad can it be?".
Nooooooo. Those lorries contained heart transplants for sick orphans! You monsters!!
Hey they never said the bridge had to be used more than once, right?
I don't see that safety meeting going well :/
10:48 wow..just WOW!
they really should do a abridge series for this game
how did any of these bridges clear health and safety?
In this case, suspension of disbelief might have served you better than disbelief of suspension...
Cables have to be in tension guys.
Thanks Matt
Well here in Australia, saying "thanks" is a form of gratitude. I can understand that we're weird down here though. So in short, I was thanking you for teaching us something about cables
Cole Van Meygaarden well I am an American so you can understand my confusion at someone expressing actual gratitude on the internet.
Sure, manners aren't heard of anymore. I get it
I feel like this is the kind of game I would want to play on an ipad or on my work computer when I should be filing reports. Fun, but not something for the home console, y'know?
Jane's Laugh the whole video: huehuehue
Weight to strength ratio guys... Don't you have bridges in London?
I got this a few days ago. Suprisingly good fun! Jane is terrible at it. Mine were perfect.
Yes, Jane would make a "killing" building bridges on this island...
Their lack physics knowledge is almost to hard to watch but their achievements are so much more satisfying.
why not try supports under the bridge? hmmm?
Bridge Constructor Simulator 2015
This is almost as funny as Mr. Fruit's Polybridge videos!
the cars are slow and furious
im gonna have to wear my SUSPEnders today
I should watch the a-bridged version of this video :P
part 2?
All you had to do was cross the damm bridge Jerry
A triangle is the strongest shape? Not when I build a card house
I should add this to before bed time insomnia cure play list
excellent idea.
I meant the video not the game
