All I can say: I miss Nepal so much, especially after watching your video. I’m a little homesick even tho it’s not my motherland. ❤️🇳🇵 Also one tip: I’ve never did shopping on my own or took a cab alone as they usually charge tourists way more than the local residents.

Y'all have made me decide to move to Kathmandu instead of heading back to NYC! Congratulations! Great Uplifting Spirit with that "view of Kathmandu..."
I've lived here for over 8 years and love Nepal. I call it my retirement home. One thing to consider when you want a donut is that they are made in the afternoon so they can be stale by the next morning. Also, they use unwashed hands, so donuts are best eaten in the afternoon when you can see them cooking in the oil. You also need to take care that the oil was still good. They use the oil until it's rancid and not healthy. 25% of tourists get the Kathmandu Kwik-Step, so be careful with the tea, as well. They use tap water and just bring it to a boil for a short few seconds, so it can be scary, too. So glad you guys enjoyed Nepal. I highly recommend Nepal.
Oh wow, I had no idea about the donuts! Thats such a great tip. We definitely should have been eating them in the afternoons then. I noticed that about the oil as well. A few years working in the local chippy taught me to know the age of the oil by its colour!
