They might give them a headache, make their eyes burn but that’s it. I’ve put as many as three gassers in one hole. The gopher is back the next day !

Wow, that's a great idea! I've gone through two six packs and the woodchucks keep returning, and they aren't tripping the kill trap. I plan to use the Amdro bombs more aggressively and have a friend armed with his 9mm in case any of them make a run for it.
Ingredients: 45% Sulfur 45%PotasiumNitrate(flash powder) Carbon and 2% other . Unless that last 2% is sulfuric acid, this is basically a firework smoke bomb. I've used 5 of these 4packs with no relief of holes and hills. I would review this product again for a before and after. If I'm wrong, someone correct me. Otherwise, I suggest finding another solution to your problems.

A hose works way better. Water the hole and when the gopher pops up hit it with shovel. I do this but my friends dont have the heart too
Sounds terrible but I think is the solution for mole problems, this animal is so hard to take from your yard
It seems you need to get to the hole immediately after you discover it. I had several little mounds in my yard and almost all of them seemed to be closed.
Same here. For me lately it’s been nothing short of absolutely rare to find a mound that leads to the actual tunnel system.
Doesnt work. I went overkill with bombs. Critter burrows in the same place around the spent cartridge.
Hello Amdro, I'm commenting to ask about an issue my father had with the gopher gasser cartridges and what long-term effects it might have.
Basically he thought it was a good idea to use one for a hole some mice had gotten through for the concrete slab close to our house's front steps. He plugged up the hole but 10 minutes later half the house started smelling like rotten eggs. He quickly opened every window and closed every vent for 6 hours. I wasn't home at the time but as soon as I got back, the smell was still strong. I'm not experiencing any irritation or coughing but I'm worried about the long-term side effects this may pose to our entire household. What should we do if the smell doesn't go away in a couple days?

How long did it take for the smell to go away? Any luck?
@@sbe0001 I would say it took about 2 to 3 weeks for it to not be noticeable anymore. The smell mainly kept close to the entrance area and left other areas of the house more quickly. Using good ventilation, open windows, and vinager bowls in the bedrooms helped a lot with that I would say. Thanks for asking!

@@I_S_S_A_ Hi! Thank you very much for the concern but we are doing just fine at the moment! The gas did not penetrate far enough underneath the house to cause a huge issue. It was an EXTREMELY tiny amount that made it inside. Still was enough to have the whole house reeking like rotten eggs lol. No health issues!
After I gave my Dad a stern talking, he ended up just sealing the hole off and it's reduced the mice problem significantly. We still get mice in the walls once in a blue moon but bait traps do the job just fine.
Still can't believe my dad thought it was a good idea to use a gas deterrent underneath the house lmao. He obviously didn't read the instructions/hazard label enough...

How long do the cartridges burn? Not the fuses, the whole cartridge.

@@sebastianavelar1882 The ingredients include Potassium Nitrate, which is an oxidizer, so it supplies it's own Oxygen.
