- Mike plays through the first scenario of the "Dadachaem's Awakening" threat for The 7th Citadel, one of his most anticipated adventure games of the year.
Missed Rule - I didn't realize that you can use your hope cards to level up DURING a scenario, which makes the quarry's special effect make a lot more sense!

Loved this! Thanks for posting. Just backed the new campaign so i was excited to see you had some gameplay!
Thanks for watching! I'm definitely in for the new campaign myself :)
When you were fighting the charmeleons, you missed that the quarry gives you a free star in combat actions so you succeeded at the first part on your first go and wouldn't have taken damage or confusion. And would have been able to more easily finish the second part too.
Oh man you are right!! That would have helped a ton!
The map with card holders is next level
It’s real nice! Even holds cards with sleeves on
Mike! There's a number hidden in the room at the inn!!! The first card you didn't review carefully and bam! :D
Whatttttt! I finished the whole DAMN CAMPAIGN and never noticed that. I went to that card basically every mission to abuse the 4 life bonus. I gotta get home and read it!!!!!!!
Might have been better to let you live in ignorance, sorry about that :D@@OneStopCoopShop
I just stopped after fighting the bandits and didn't keep searching for their friends like they said to. I guess I shoulda kept going haha
At least you didn’t almost drown like me!
I got 7th continent from someone when I bought iss vanguard from them. Is that one fun too? Really excited to try it out.
7th continent is great, though it has less of a narrative, it’s more punishing, and it’s more open ended. I’m doing a comparison review next week if you are interested
@@OneStopCoopShop will definitely look out for the comparison video. I bought 7th continent from someone about 2 years ago and after half a scenario my girlfriend and i gave up. We simply felt that it was too much of a survival pussle in a huge world, but which felt relatively empty. So when we got to what we thought were the end of the first curse we simply didnt have any will to continue when we found out it wasnt.
On the other hand i am a huge fan of Tainted Grail so its not like the adventure genre cannot strike through.
@jonatan2969 I think you’ll like citadel way more then. It’s much more directed, it plays well in sessions (each mission is 60-90 minutes), and the world feels lived in and full of
@@OneStopCoopShop sounds good. Have way too many games so nearly hope it doesnt seem interesting so i dont get pulled in :D
I will be very disappointed if all the missions are this direct. Hopefully it's just because it was the opener
I’ll discuss this in my review next week, but in the one campaign I finished they do get more open with more choices, but none of them were as open to wandering around as the curses in 7th continent.
