The bilge pump doesn’t have an auto function? I lost a docked power boat to rain recently because it was possible to turn off the auto function. My sailboat is wired in a way that it’s only possible to switch the bilge pump off off with tools.
Our Beneteau doest have a float switch on bilge pump either, guess Beneteau save a dollar or to not installing. One of those jobs we should but haven't got around to doing. Josh looks like he knows wiring so perhaps Pixel will be adding one after that
coming late to your party. how long is Pixel and her age? congratulations on your shakedown . Seasickness is no fun… A bit concerned about that myself when get my “BIG BOY” boat! Love your storytelling! Stay safe and loving each other! Cheers
Welcome 😊 She is a 41ft Beneteau Clipper 411, 2002. Yep seasickness is the worst! I have been taking ginger tablets when I know the sea state will be rough which has been helping a lot!
Clear water in the bilge is either stern gland, rudder stock or keel bolts. Dirty water in the bilge is rain water from the topsides. Crystal clear water in the bilge means you are sinking.
Yer sorry I can Not subscribe to nor watch people who put their lives in Danger like that. Leaving a Hole in the side of the boat and not having a Bilge Pump which activates when the water reaches a certain level is just too stupid for me. Risking the Lives of the people on Your boats get You put in Jail for a Long time. Sell the boat and stay on land. Those who subscribe are Not helping You.
Your introduction to the Wide Bay Bar was fantastic, it was the flattest I have ever seen it! PS get that leak sorted, Emma it will get better.
