I was lucky to be a student during the petrino years, so sad to see how far we’ve fallen. Hope Pittman can get us back to at least being relevant and respectable.
We had a lot of Good years before that pervert came to coach us sure he had two good years but he left the well dry in his screwed up exit sure we had a few players left on offense but no defense I’m glad he’s gone we just should have hired a better replacement when he got fired!
I was 15 when this game aired and I almost certainly watched it, but I have absolutely no recollection of anything that happened, or even that the game existed, except for that one play by Wade. Everything else, completely erased from my memory until you uploaded this.
Petrino always seemed to win these types of games. Also our lack of talent outside of WR (and even then they weren't the same kinds of receivers other schools in the SEC were/are getting) was pretty obvious. A top 10 team and we were still slow/weak across the board on defense. Willy was actually a pretty good coordinator
Lucky to get this win. I'm not sure I've respected an Arkansas QB, or player in general, more than Tyler Wilson! Heart and guts and an arm! Ejecting Wade was the right decision, If I was a coach and the refs didn't eject him I would have myself! There's no room for that. There's a difference between a tough hard clean hit and just playing dirty
Petrino's second best team. What a game, but how about Vandy? This had to be one of Franklin's best teams too. Should have given him a good look after we fired Easy Rider.
Wasn't his best, went 6-7, but they were 2-10 the year before and this was his first season. He went 9-4 his next two years there. I was pushing for him to be looked at as well.
@@WARMACHINE2013 Must have got the years mixed up. Even more impressive though. You think that 2-10 Vandy team had more talent then we did last year? Shows what a good coach can do quickly.
Hogs were very lucky to win this game! Lucky that they were able to overcome Wade's moronic play. Lucky with the fumble return by Franklin. Lucky that Vandy's kicker sucked. But ... luck is a part of the game, and good teams often make their own luck, and often find a way to win games by overcoming adversity. The 2011 team is, so far, the best Razorbacks team of the 21st Century. 2010 and 2006 aren't far behind.
Yea, that was his biggest issue was fumbling. He had one at LSU that was crucial in the second quarter after they tied it at 14 and the Hogs were driving then the next year against LSU fumbled on the goal line on the first drive. He was still a great player though.
WARMACHINE2013 Iam just in my feelings right now lol 😂 2011 season I was deployed to Afghanistan 🇦🇫 so that’s the last time my razorbacks was worth a watch on tv 📺 for football lol 😂 bb and CM where in over there heads lol

How do you feel now, Texas Hog?

I was 11 when this game aired and I remember Jordan Rogers torching us and Casey Spear missing that field goal at the end
That's the case with games in general with me. I'll remember some things but not others. I was 4 yrs older than you when this game was played.
Man, what a game. Tyler Wilson is one of the toughest to ever play the QB position.
Man I forgot how lucky we were to win this one. lol
Was at that game and boy WHAT A GAME!
Thanks for posting and sharing. Go Hog's!!!
Was Arkansas two PT. Conversion giving to Vanderbilt at 10:48
Just a mess up. They fixed it later.
I mean, it was a pretty good hit by Marquel lmao
He knocked that dude's soul out of his body.

Vanderbilt had a good team in 2011. The Razorbacks were super lucky to come away with the win.
I was at that game, that one was a nail biter.

@@rickleasure I don't know about the talent, but yes, coaching absolutely matters.

dennis johnson is one of the most underrated hogs ever. i was born in 1983..
i say this, and he coughs it up in the 3rd quarter. lol

We didn't even deserve that win
Well, I think the football gods have repaid us for it and then some since then.
@@WARMACHINE2013 I have always said that Arkansas is a dynasty waiting to happen. Maybe this staff can do it. Woo pig sooie for life
Hocker and Franklin had to be the only ones who didn't get hammered the night before? That was a ugleee game.
Yikes 😬 lol 😂 why am I still faithful to the razorbacks tho 🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️ just painfully
Idk why a win is yikes worthy lol
