Like the chord selection, especially in the lower range, for its richness and the chromatic progression: a classic motif that gives this song its pulse and that "stay in your head" quality that makes this tune a favorite for so many. Not just basic cowboy triads, but the richer color of jazz chords. These make the song. I'm gonna add it to my repertoire.
