Had this just over a year, the 88 model and it quit working...seller told me it had to be paired to the remote...I do not remember doing that originally, can they "unpair" themselves?
Hi Syfy, you can read through re-pairing instructions via our manual on page 9, located here: bit.ly/icf_instr You can also contact us toll-free should you have additional questions via 800-433-1626!
Wonder how much air those move compared to industrial HVLS fans of the same size (some HVLS fans do go as small as 96”). Maybe about a fifth of the air that a similar-sized Big Ass Fans thing (that isn’t a Haiku) would move?
Hi Don, We have 12", 18", and 24" downrods available for purchase from our web site at the following address: bvc.com/catalogsearch/result/?cat=&q=downrod
Hi Debo, a 12" downrod would be fine for this installation, as long as it meets all other safety requirements with a standard install. You can see a digital copy of our instruction manual here: bvc.com/skin/frontend/base/default/instructions/icf_instr.pdf And also purchase a 12" downrod here: bvc.com/icf-12-downrod-12-downrod-for-industrial-ceiling-fans.html
A 6' downrod would also work - again, just make sure it meets safety specs (able to install keeper pins and other safety features) outlined in our manual. Please note that at that length you'd need to extend the fan's wiring in order to complete install.
Is that 13" from ceiling to lowest point on fan blade or 13" from ceiling to fan cover? I'm trying to make sure it will either be above my garage door tracks or below it, so distance from ceiling is very important
Hi bkendrick, 24" is the longest downrod we produce for purchase - however, we have had some customers create a custom downrod of their own using heavy duty 1/2" metal electrical conduit and drilling holes at top and bottom to accomodate correct installation using the keeper pins. Depending on how long you create your downrod, this may mean you will need to extend your wiring.
just opened box and it had wrong downrod in package. the wrong one had threads and too large diameter. only reason i know is i orderwd 3 fans and they were different. 2 worked and one doesnt. i am not about to pay 175 dollars for a small part that should of come with them. i am not impressed.
I would buy one if it had a light kit.
Install the blades on the ground first... Saves a serious headache

Hi Kat,
Our 96" fan moves up to 13,000 CFM on the highest setting, while the 72" version moves up to 10,200 CFM.
It slows air flow
Where do I get a longer downrod?
Hi Don,

I'm going to see 2 of these in a barber shop
How much does it cost? big ceiling fan for our church.
Is fine to use with a foot downrod?

Any way to remove the ugly sticker?
what is the shortest length downrod i can use ?
Hi dixiedoggy,
This model comes with a standard 6-inch downrod, which is the shortest length recommended for use.
Ok thanks
If at all possible could you tell me the over all length it would hang down from ceiling
Once assembled, this unit is around 13" in height.

Is 24" the longest downrod offered?

Most fan shops and Home Depot have longer rods. I got a 6' rod for a vaulted ceiling installation.
Bob A Booey would a standard 6foot downroad work our does it need to be a heavy duty one?
I need this one

What’s the biggest complaint? I was thinking about one for my patio too. It looks like common fan parts dressed up.
It just moves static air around.
Is this useful, for double ceiling?
