    Phil, For your non professional viewers, here is what I use to detail a car, with a budget in mind. Strip washing I use a combination of Vehicle & Boat Wash & Super Clean. Glass Cleaner for inside, I use Stoner's Invisible glass cleaner, outside glass I use Rain X waterless wash. For regular maintenance washes, I use ONR with wax. If I do a traditional wash with a hose, I would use TW Hybrid Solution Wash for my cars treated with the TW Hybrid Polish/Wax. For non treated vehicles I use a PH neutral car soap, like Meguiars (about $15.00 per gallon). Interior cleaning I use Super Clean, diluted 10:1. For leather I use Woolite diluted 4:1. Leather conditioning, I use Lexol. For plastic & or vinyl, I condition with Aerospace 303. For deep cleaning engine, wheels, tires & wheel wells, I use a mixture of Vehicle & Boat Wash, Super Clean & Dawn Dish Soap. For chemical decon., I use Eagle One Black PlastiCoat Wheel Cleaner. For claying I use the Mothers Speed Clay. For tire dressing, I use CarPro PERL, mixed 50-50. PERL CAN ALSO BE USED on all plastics, vinyl, & rubber for exterior surfaces. For polishing, I use either TW Hybrid Polish/Wax or Meguiars Ultimate Polish with orange Lake Country Pads. For ceramic spray I use TW Hybrid Ceramic Spray after the TW Hybrid Polish/Wax. If I'm doing a wax, I will use Meguiars Ultimate Wax. As a topper or booster for non ceramic coating I use TW ICE Spray WAX and or TW Seal N Shine. If I'm doing a traditional wash, with a hose, I treat the wheels with either Meguiars Hybrid Spray Wax or TW Hybrid Wet Wax. Deep cleaning tires, wheels & wheel wells, 1st time cleaning, I use the following; Minerals spirits on tires, Eagle One Black Plasticoat Wheel Cleaner, Soap mixture of Vehicle & Boat Wash, Super Clean & Dawn Dish Soap, Meguiars Non Acid Wheel Cleaner, clean & scrub till there is now browning. For polishing tight spaces, such as door jams, Trunk areas and or under hoods, I use TW ICE Spray Wax. Phil, thanks for your videos, I have learned so much from you!

    If anyone's interested, I keep different car wash soaps in a 10-ratio in squirt bottles with water., a dip bucket and then hose down cars and squirt a few shots on the car depending on which soap I think works best.
    It saves a lot of soap from contamination. It also wastes a lot less soap.
    I do it for the environmental reasons of less waste going into water ways (yes, even if its biodegradable). It also works very well and is convientant. More so than having a bucket full of soap that needs to be changed out every few days. Happy detailing : D

    Stoner’s Invisible Glass: no dyes in aerosol or liquid form (Home Depot). Also Jay Leno’s Garage offers clear glass cleaner. What wheel brushes do you use for the barrels? I hate the kickback from EZ Detail brush.

    • @MirandaDetailing
      @MirandaDetailing  5 років тому +2

      Good options. I need to use stoners glass cleaner more often. I do like it.
      I started using theses amzn.to/2ScTlCi

    Phil, check out 3D's new glass cleaner. It's also a concentrate. It has a blue dye, but I notice it doesn't stain at all. It literally looks just like windshield washer fluid, but after you dilute with a gallon of distilled water ( I think 3oz to 1 gallon), it looks almost like ONR. There's really no scent after it's mixed, and the color doesn't stain anything. I've also used Megs glass cleaner, and it took me a little over 2 years to finally use it up. I found megs to be a bit too "grabby" and I didn't like the strong smell and staining....the 3D I feel works much better, and dries more evenly. I notice less streaking.
    I might try that Gyeon TAR...have you noticed if it's safe on black plastic bumpers?

    Meguiars finishing wax vs butter were wax. Does one shine better than the other

    • @MirandaDetailing
      @MirandaDetailing  5 років тому

      🤔 I find it difficult to determine “shine” when first applied. Since I polish first before we apply the Fast Finish I would say Fast Finish would win, but only because I polish before hand. Usually with butter wax, I apply it with the polisher and it does has some cleaning abilities, but I think Fast Finish would win.

    • @waltergray9182
      @waltergray9182 5 років тому +1

      Miranda Detailing so how do you choose your wax. I know you have a few of them. But is your go to wax. And what did you receive from using butter wet wax

    • @MirandaDetailing
      @MirandaDetailing  5 років тому

      I’m sorry! I read your message wrong. I thought I read “Fast Finish” sorry I misread.
      I try to choose a wax that is easy to apply and works in the sun. I’m currently using Megs Finishing wax and love it.
      I actually think Finishing Wax is glossier than butter wax.
      What do you mean from receiving something from using butter wet wax?

    I was surprised not to see any Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions Ceramics products, i.e. Polish & Wax, Sealant spray, and the Wet Wax. Also, I was looking for Xtreme Solutions soap. The Gyeon, is it better than the rest? The 303 reviews, the 3D super citrus, and Super Clean are all winners. Last year you did the unpacking on Dr. Beasley's products and I was wondering if you did a review of them. My interest is with the Ceramic body wash (only use 1/2 cap per 32 oz., or Premium body-wash, total Decon, tire conditioner, etc. By the way how long does the O-High shine last? Good video, and thanks for the complete story.
