Can u make another video like this one? Just to show what you use now. I like how u explain every chemical, nice video. I like to detail my own vehicles and I’ve learned a lot with you. 👍 awesome job!!
Phil, For your non professional viewers, here is what I use to detail a car, with a budget in mind. Strip washing I use a combination of Vehicle & Boat Wash & Super Clean. Glass Cleaner for inside, I use Stoner's Invisible glass cleaner, outside glass I use Rain X waterless wash. For regular maintenance washes, I use ONR with wax. If I do a traditional wash with a hose, I would use TW Hybrid Solution Wash for my cars treated with the TW Hybrid Polish/Wax. For non treated vehicles I use a PH neutral car soap, like Meguiars (about $15.00 per gallon). Interior cleaning I use Super Clean, diluted 10:1. For leather I use Woolite diluted 4:1. Leather conditioning, I use Lexol. For plastic & or vinyl, I condition with Aerospace 303. For deep cleaning engine, wheels, tires & wheel wells, I use a mixture of Vehicle & Boat Wash, Super Clean & Dawn Dish Soap. For chemical decon., I use Eagle One Black PlastiCoat Wheel Cleaner. For claying I use the Mothers Speed Clay. For tire dressing, I use CarPro PERL, mixed 50-50. PERL CAN ALSO BE USED on all plastics, vinyl, & rubber for exterior surfaces. For polishing, I use either TW Hybrid Polish/Wax or Meguiars Ultimate Polish with orange Lake Country Pads. For ceramic spray I use TW Hybrid Ceramic Spray after the TW Hybrid Polish/Wax. If I'm doing a wax, I will use Meguiars Ultimate Wax. As a topper or booster for non ceramic coating I use TW ICE Spray WAX and or TW Seal N Shine. If I'm doing a traditional wash, with a hose, I treat the wheels with either Meguiars Hybrid Spray Wax or TW Hybrid Wet Wax. Deep cleaning tires, wheels & wheel wells, 1st time cleaning, I use the following; Minerals spirits on tires, Eagle One Black Plasticoat Wheel Cleaner, Soap mixture of Vehicle & Boat Wash, Super Clean & Dawn Dish Soap, Meguiars Non Acid Wheel Cleaner, clean & scrub till there is now browning. For polishing tight spaces, such as door jams, Trunk areas and or under hoods, I use TW ICE Spray Wax. Phil, thanks for your videos, I have learned so much from you!
If anyone's interested, I keep different car wash soaps in a 10-ratio in squirt bottles with water., a dip bucket and then hose down cars and squirt a few shots on the car depending on which soap I think works best. It saves a lot of soap from contamination. It also wastes a lot less soap. I do it for the environmental reasons of less waste going into water ways (yes, even if its biodegradable). It also works very well and is convientant. More so than having a bucket full of soap that needs to be changed out every few days. Happy detailing : D
Hello Isaac again, question can I use ceramic wash and wax to wash my truck and then maguiars ceramic on top of that for more protection? Or that would be to much?

I am currently working on finding a good glass cleaner for all applications. Currently trying out Invisiglass, but I've also used Chemical Guys Glass cleaner and Sprayway glass cleaner. So far the Invisiglass is doing it for me. I'm pretty picky with my glass!

I really love invisible glass which is not a concentrate but its pretty cheap. Yes, it is a retail brand but ive used them all (both professional and retail brands) and by far, at least for me, it cleans very well and does not streak and wipes up well. it's also very good on chrome when used in conjunction with #0000 very fine steel wool. Same with exterior windows, use #0000 very fine steel wool with inv glass before towel drying.
Hi. Yes it can be diluted to suit your needs. I usually dilute it 1:10 for light/medium duty cleaning and 1:4 for heavy cleaning and APC Rinsing on the exterior. Check out this video for dilution ratios calculating. ua-cam.com/video/9cCacFdc2CU/v-deo.html
Hey phill I dunno if you use them but I think your probley have tried umm at one point megs express spray wax vs bead maker are they almost same similar I bought small bottle bead maker but I still have not had chance to use it I have half gallon of xpress spray wax I wax with ultimate paste wax or fast finish then top with express spray wax between when I wax just wanted to know what thought of xpress spray wax vs bead maker similar or should I gor gallon bead maker after express is finished ? Hi I love both! I do feel they are very similar, maybe Bead maker is a little slicker, but that can be subjective I think. I say choose the one that you enjoy using and fits your budget and stick with it.😎👍
Phil, check out 3D's new glass cleaner. It's also a concentrate. It has a blue dye, but I notice it doesn't stain at all. It literally looks just like windshield washer fluid, but after you dilute with a gallon of distilled water ( I think 3oz to 1 gallon), it looks almost like ONR. There's really no scent after it's mixed, and the color doesn't stain anything. I've also used Megs glass cleaner, and it took me a little over 2 years to finally use it up. I found megs to be a bit too "grabby" and I didn't like the strong smell and staining....the 3D I feel works much better, and dries more evenly. I notice less streaking. I might try that Gyeon TAR...have you noticed if it's safe on black plastic bumpers?
@@MirandaDetailing ok cool was jw which ratio you used with the good results you had. Sounds like there’s potential for even dirtier wheels than you worked on 👍
I use a bunch of different brands and types. But I love Kirkland brand yellow MF. They are great! I have a ton of nicer denser towels from The Rag Company and Chemical guys also. I try to wash everything separately like glass, exterior only and interior only. I use 3D Towel Klean to wash them.
For interior i just buy the megapack at sams club or Walmart. i wash my Microfibers in washing machine on warm water and a natural Laundry machine soap like traders joes brand liquid or Ecos or Seventh Generation liquid
🤔 I find it difficult to determine “shine” when first applied. Since I polish first before we apply the Fast Finish I would say Fast Finish would win, but only because I polish before hand. Usually with butter wax, I apply it with the polisher and it does has some cleaning abilities, but I think Fast Finish would win.
Miranda Detailing so how do you choose your wax. I know you have a few of them. But is your go to wax. And what did you receive from using butter wet wax
I’m sorry! I read your message wrong. I thought I read “Fast Finish” sorry I misread. I try to choose a wax that is easy to apply and works in the sun. I’m currently using Megs Finishing wax and love it. I actually think Finishing Wax is glossier than butter wax. What do you mean from receiving something from using butter wet wax?
I haven’t really tested it yet, but I’m going to do some vids on that soon. I’ve heard from research up to 6 months. Real world results probably 4 months.
Hey, another awesome video. Have you tested the megs finishing wax against HD Speed? Just curious if the megs wax has a longer lasting effect than he speed.
I was surprised not to see any Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions Ceramics products, i.e. Polish & Wax, Sealant spray, and the Wet Wax. Also, I was looking for Xtreme Solutions soap. The Gyeon, is it better than the rest? The 303 reviews, the 3D super citrus, and Super Clean are all winners. Last year you did the unpacking on Dr. Beasley's products and I was wondering if you did a review of them. My interest is with the Ceramic body wash (only use 1/2 cap per 32 oz., or Premium body-wash, total Decon, tire conditioner, etc. By the way how long does the O-High shine last? Good video, and thanks for the complete story.
Do you think the meguiars finishing wax is a good all purpose wax to use while mobile detailing? Even if the paint isn’t is the best of shape? Also does it work great in the hot sun?
Hi. Oh yeah. That stuff is awesome. Very easy to use and preforms great in the full sun and heat. It’s also very affordable. It’s hot the longest lasting wax but you can always top it with something for maintenance details. ua-cam.com/video/UCMVilTxrZM/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/uxdDnuDnR68/v-deo.html
@@MirandaDetailing and you use the griots red waxing pads to apply the wax correct? I just recently purchased a porter cable 7424xp polisher and I purchased the griots 6.5 wax red pads.
Thanks Phil.... Very nice choice 👍.... I came across your video Through ordering a few products From car supplier warehouse for personal use and I've bin watching you ever sense. The reason why I asked you the question is it seems like anything Elese. There is such a influx of product choices out there that I'm sure there are some great ones and there are some real duds out there to. I really like the New Line of turtle wax products now there's a tried and true CO. 75 YRS AND STILL going strong they must be doing something right........ Hey Phil, what is your go to product(s) for removing EXTEMELY baked on brake dust found in the wheel barrels? Will P&S Brake Buster work or is a highly concentrated APC or acid wheel clean needed for very neglected wheels?
What i found that works best for me is a 50/50 mix of meguiars Hyper Dressing and Optimum Optibond tire gel in a spray bottle. Also, I love the High-Tech brand Large Tire dressing applicator, the best in town: www.dsiautomotive.com/tire-dressing-applicator-large
I also use Meguiar'sPpaint Protect on trim. I bought the last three bottles of it that Autozone had when they had it on clearance, Meguiar's no longer makes it., but a little goes a long way on trim.
Poorboys World Glass Cleaner. It's $40 for a gallon. Best glass cleaner I've EVER used. You can check the reviews anywhere and you won't see a bad one. Also it's great in direct sunlight. Then it makes the glass really slick after you clean it.
Thank you for the quick reply!! I was gonna try chemical guys but I do love how Meguairs provides the bottles for their chemicals. For paint correct I will have to go with 3D one. For protection I was debating on Gyeon or the Ammo products.

what products do you prefer to fabric guard?
Either Gtechniq SMart Fabric or Gyeon Fabric Protectant
Awesome clean man ha ha ha ha ha ha
Hello sir do you mind if we send some of our products to you to review and demo?
Hi. Sure. Email me. Mirandadetailing@gmail.com
Have you ever tried 3D Nano Citrus APC on wheels and tires?
Yup. Works great!
@@MirandaDetailing nice! What dilution ratio do you use for the wheels and tires?
@JayyBird93 I forget what their suggestions are because it’s pretty strong stuff. I think I used whatever the regular usage, 3oz or so per gallon
@@MirandaDetailing ok cool was jw which ratio you used with the good results you had. Sounds like there’s potential for even dirtier wheels than you worked on 👍
What brand MF towels do you prefer and how do you get them clean or do you discard?
I use a bunch of different brands and types. But I love Kirkland brand yellow MF. They are great! I have a ton of nicer denser towels from The Rag Company and Chemical guys also. I try to wash everything separately like glass, exterior only and interior only. I use 3D Towel Klean to wash them.
For interior i just buy the megapack at sams club or Walmart. i wash my Microfibers in washing machine on warm water and a natural Laundry machine soap like traders joes brand liquid or Ecos or Seventh Generation liquid
Meguiars finishing wax vs butter were wax. Does one shine better than the other
🤔 I find it difficult to determine “shine” when first applied.
Do you still have some Mother's instant detailer available
Hi. Sorry. It all gone. Someone local bought it.
Can you tell me what the approx protection longevity of the Meguiars finish wax has?
I haven’t really tested it yet, but I’m going to do some vids on that soon. I’ve heard from research up to 6 months. Real world results probably 4 months.
Hey how much would you sell all the mothers bottles for ? From Campbell's Mobile Detailing
🤷🏻♂️make an offer. Plus the shipping of course.
Great video! Yea mothers detailer is terrible. Like your honesty on products.
Does your friend have a site I can buy the square applicator pads?
You can buy these ones www.bit.ly/365lvJs
Hey, another awesome video. Have you tested the megs finishing wax against HD Speed? Just curious if the megs wax has a longer lasting effect than he speed.
I haven’t really tested them them but I’ve seen both last around 2 months on customers vehicles.
Thanks, I'm looking forward to your dedicated video on the finishing wax.
I’ll be doing one soon! 😎👍🏼
I’ll be doing one soon! 😎👍🏼
This video is like a year+ old. I’ll be updating it soon!

@@MirandaDetailing and you use the griots red waxing pads to apply the wax correct? I just recently purchased a porter cable 7424xp polisher and I purchased the griots 6.5 wax red pads.
I use what red or black soft pads I can get. The griots ones work great also.
Have you ever tried Auto Magic SPOKE wheel Cleaner. Awesome results
I haven’t. But I’m not opposed to trying it. There is an Automagic retailer near me. 👍🏼
Some dealers I know use Auto Magic for everything...its some incredible stuff
I’ve used it in the past. They do have have some good products.
OK Phil... What would be you "GO TO" KIT IF YOU HAD TO CHOOSE JUST ENOUGH PRODUCTS TO GET THE JOB DONE AND STILL
PRODUCE SUPERIOR QUALITY RESULTS?
Hi. Well are you talking about as a business or just for my own vehicles?
For your own vehicals.
Well I guess if I had to keep it simple this kit would be great bit.ly/3jkIVjd
Thanks Phil.... Very nice choice 👍.... I came across your video
Through ordering a few products
From car supplier warehouse for personal use and I've bin watching you ever sense. Thanks again Phil for your response keep putting out the great content 👍🇺🇸
You’re welcome! Yeah Tw products have made a huge comeback!!
Good video! You don’t really like chemical guys a lot do you?
I do. I use the citrus wash and gloss and new car shine dressing all the time.
Chemical guys make some good stuff but they come out with way too many products that do the same thing. They should really focus on creating one product and sticking with it and improve it.
Robert Garcia i agree. Same with their youtube channel.
"Hi Phillip I Was Just Wondering if You Tried Masterson's Car Care Products They Work Amazing!! It's Based Out Here In California, One of My favorite Products They Have Are The Waterless Wash And Shine And Many More!!..
Hi. I haven’t yet! I have heard of them though.
Great video, thank you! You might've discovered this by now but for anyone else wondering the new Meguiars Pro Hybrid Ceramic Sealant is awesome for mobile detailing!
Thanks. Oh yeah I have some vids dropping soon on that!
Hey Phil, what is your go to product(s) for removing EXTEMELY baked on brake dust found in the wheel barrels? Will P&S Brake Buster work or is a highly concentrated APC or acid wheel clean needed for very neglected wheels?
Hi. For that my last resort is Megs Wheel Brightener. It’s acid based and very strong. amzn.to/3BXVEjL
Do you like the Meguiar's hyper dressing? I see you use the 303 as you go to but just wondering.
I used to use it years ago. I think I may try it again. Or possibly Chemical guys Silk Shine dressing.
BETTWEN PS vs VO7 , THE BEST ARE?
Hi. Which P&S product?
Miranda Detailing, sorry, Bead Maker
Oh ok. I have to say Bead maker is slicker and nicer to apply. V07 is ok, but I prefer Bead Maker over it.
Miranda Detailing, I really appreciate tour attention
Your attention
great channel
Thanks.
Do you know of any iron-x substitute that is cheaper?
Sure do. I just made a video on wheel and tire cleaners. I have links on there. 😎👍🏼
@@MirandaDetailing Excellent ill check it out. Can you use it also on body paint?
Yes it can.
Great video 👍
Carpro clarify.
I also use Meguiar'sPpaint Protect on trim. I bought the last three bottles of it that Autozone had when they had it on clearance, Meguiar's no longer makes it., but a little goes a long way on trim.
Update?
Hi. You mean an update on what products I use?
I like invisaglass
I use chemical guys glass cleaner works very well
AWESOME!
I'd buy all of those instant retailers for 5 a piece
Ok they are all yours. Let me see what shipping is. Email me your address please. Mirandadetailing@gmail.com
Done
When I get back home later today I’ll get everything ready and give you an update on prices. 👍🏼
Buzz Lightyear really knows how to clean a car!!
“To infinity and beyond!!”
Poorboys World Glass Cleaner. It's $40 for a gallon. Best glass cleaner I've EVER used. You can check the reviews anywhere and you won't see a bad one. Also it's great in direct sunlight. Then it makes the glass really slick after you clean it.
Sweet! Thanks man. I’ll check it out.
What product line do you reccomend to start off with??
I love Meguairs and 3D. They are affordable and work extremely well.
Thank you for the quick reply!! I was gonna try chemical guys but I do love how Meguairs provides the bottles for their chemicals. For paint correct I will have to go with 3D one. For protection I was debating on Gyeon or the Ammo products.
I make my own glass cleaner. 91% alcohol mixed with distilled water. 50 50
Cool, Yup I have that also.
