I actually harvested a person to death, just cause he had a shattered spine and wouldn't join me so I couldn't help him. My whole colony had a -20 debuff for... 6 days... Big debuff, but they got over it pretty quickly XD. Keep in mind, that's the debuffs for harvesting someone to DEATH and each organ stacks, so it was like 4 organs + murder =20 lol

We should not burn raiders alive with geothermal heat as that is extremely unethical. We prefer them euthanized while anesthesized. Disclaimer: the doctoring experience and organs are completely byproduct of this completely ethical execution of war criminals.
Whenever you have to arrest one of your colonists, you can immediately drafter the arrester and cancel the action, and it also stops the arrestee from their bad mood effect
As long as the arrestee does not enter the cell they don't get a debuff. Useful except when they go berserk in which case you still have to beat the shit out of them.
Passion - you touch the wall that you must break down, and it just turns into rubble. Burning passion - you just look at the wall that you must break down and it turns into sand.
In playthroughs where I am doing the organ harvesting style colony I always use a less than lethal weapons mod. things like stun guns and tranquilizers is really handy for collecting organs rather than corpses
Unfortunately trying to use the guest bedroom to further the organ harvesting isn't actually profitable. The instant you capture one of the guests and then try to harvest their organs the whole faction will immediately become hostile and once all factions are hostile you're not going to get any further guests. The cost in resources to build the guest room probably isn't far off from what you'll get in organs either. Also, most importantly, you'll have less factions to trade with once they're all hostile. The only option for trading becomes trade ships, and i think maybe pirate trade caravans if you're lucky. It would be better to keep a faction on good terms and let them continue to come as guests as that builds relationship until they become allies and they can continue to give you silver for the rooms. Edit: You do want to keep the price on beds reasonable though. Guests only carry a limited amount of silver, in some cases a guest may not have any and therefore won't be able to use the beds - which they'll be mad about.
I wonder if it could be made to work by waiting for a guest to enter their bedroom, then building a wall in front of the door and wait for them to get incapacitated and capturing them, preferably after the rest of the convoy has left? Or could it be used to improve relations by rescuing the downed visitor instead?
@@Tuulos I think it's possible to create a situation where the guests are "unintentionally" downed in a fire foam covered room from heat stroke and rescued for additional standing with the factions. Just make sure they don't actually die
@@Tuulos You can rescue them instead of capturing them this way for sure. You'll still lose standing when you harvest an organ though. Also, rescuing a non-colonist only gives a positive standing bonus if they leave your colony unharmed after being rescued. I would ultimately say it's fine to piss all of the other factions except one, since I'm pretty sure you'll get the same amount of guests with just one non-hostile faction as you would several. That way you can harvest organs from several different factions but still keep one friendly for trading and using the guest room.

That way the "Rescued guest" positive standing should be able to offset the "Harvested organ" negative standing. It is unclear however whether multiple hostile factions increase intensity and frequency of raids. If there's no frequency increase then there's little point in pissing a faction off. Maybe except tribal factions because they have more people per raid.
its always erked me that its not in base game, or atleast being able to harvest organs after the first few hours, or if the bodys stay below a certain temp, that was always agitating to me

I think building a small roof section over your defensive sand bags will help your colonists accuracy during bad weather. Love the series keep up the great work :)
loving hte series so far man! Quick tip though, you really shouldn't have all of your batteries in one room. If there is a ZZT event that happens to light a battery on fire. it can quickly get too hot to put out in a room like that, and then you have no more batteries. Cheers!

This is the longest UA-cam series I've watched. I generally get bored of a long series but I'm thoroughly enjoying this! Who knew that you can get more attached to Rimworld characters than characters in movies with a budget!
It is indeed vanilla. In the same section where you give a colonist a new nickname, you can assign them a new title, which will then be listed as their current occupation. Hope this was of help.
I'm new to your channel & have been binging your stuff the last few days. I love how you do themed stuff, like the no limbs thing & all the RimWorld ones.
Keep the masterwork bed for your pawns. The higher the quality bed, the more rest effectiveness it has. The more rest effectiveness, the quicker the pawn in it sleeps. Which means they get more work done. Obviously, material matters too. A Good Wooden Bed is better than an Excellent Stone Bed.
I think you can request a pirate trader from a faction if they're your allies and you have that comms console thing, it costs 15 goodwill and takes a few days to come.

The idea of psychopaths organizing an exclusive tribe comprised only of other psychopaths is an interesting premise I think that's called a corporation
I'm sure you've been told many times, but there is a Mt. Overhead Removal mod. Install it high up on your mod list and basically you just use remove roof over a mountain tile and your pawns will remove it.
More turrets. You might consider strip mining one of the more distant rocks with like 1-2 wide corridors and close it with thick walls. then carry some wood furniture and wooden flooring in for the future infestations to burn on.
Wild Boar 6 has Been wandering around AT LEAST since Dimitri AND Evil Jim had their fight, it was literally walking right next to their beds as you were interacting with them.
you should get the death rattle mod, this way you can harvest the heart and the colonist still lives without a pulse for some time so you can harvest even more organs before they die

You should build a big box with a door you can close so you can make it harder for your prey to escape, just have to have a way to run out and close the door behind them safely
There is a mod out there that if you harvest a vital organ instead of instantly dying the pawn suffers from organ failure for up to I think 2 hours so you could take 4 organs if you are quick. Also really good for if a pawn gets shot in the heart, instead of instant death they are downed and could be operated on

Aren't there tranquillizers/ dart guns in this game? Those could make nabbing armed people easier to do. What about toxgas launchers? Would that incapacitate enemy pawns? (I've never tried, that's why I'm asking) I also think you can establish orbital trading. You need a comms station and a landing pad (both researched separately) and that way you can trade with orbiting cargo ships. They have pretty good stuff on them and they always accept organs.
Im glad you do series that i dont like, so when i do like a series other dont particularly like you might still do them just because they are fun for you!

I'm disappointed with the amount of organs harvested this playthrough... There weren't many "guests" in the ORGANization after the 2nd episode.
