Bruce Norris' "Clybourne Park," already an Olivier Award winner and 2011 Pulitzer Prize recipient, makes its way to Broadway's Walter Kerr Theatre following Off-Broadway, London and American regional productions. Directed by Obie winner Pam MacKinnon, the drama's first act takes place in 1959 as a nervous white community tries to stop the sale of a home to a black family. In the second act, it's 50 years later and the mostly African-American neighbors attempt to stave off the forces of gentrification. Actors in the cast (reunited from the 2010 Playwrights Horizons world premiere) play multiple roles in the dual-era, humor-flecked play inspired by Lorraine Hansberry's "A Raisin in the Sun."
