This guy is a national treasure. Who says Africans can't be resourceful, The guy needs funding which is the major thing that young great minds lack in Africa.

I have always been interested in funding a tech start up at least to my capacity, but i have not heard or seen of a platform that gives a structure to that type of venture, only ones that require a huge capital.

We Africans have highest youth population in the World today and many are innovative. Kudos to another innovative Nigerian brother who is tackling his nations power challenges. In Zimbabwe an inventor has come up with a TV set that powers itself, it does not need any power point,it is powered with radio frequency. He also invented a car that does not need fuel .Its great to see African youths shining coz it's their time.
This are the kind of people that Nigeria must empowered, clean futuristic sources of powers instead of thinking and still embarking on outdated forms of electricity sources

Great job Edet one thing to get out of this is after school he is employed not by anyone but himself and that good because this what he loves doing. I pray he sees an investor so he can commercialize his products.

To solve the power problem in Nigeria, we need to go back to the foundational level, lots of rewiring have to be done, we are more than 200million now so Nigeria needs to downsize in the output, instead of the 220v we can downsize to 110v, meaning the amount of power consumed by one house can now be used by two houses if supply is reduced to 110v, and I tell you if that TV is 110v, that power bank should run it for up to 8-10 hours. our leaders are truly analog they can't think beyond their belly, this is the things they should be promoting to solve the power crises we are facing.
