Memory unlocked! It was a decade ago when we experienced this! Imagine the struggle of being a student nurse wearing our white uniform! No mercy was given, we were soaking wet as early as 6am! It is fun if your intention is to be part of that festival but it was a nightmare for us since we really had no idea that at that day the festival will be held! We had to walk since no jeepneys or means of transpo were available, most of the public transpo were detoured, we were crying on the roadside begging not to splash us with water. We were really traumatized that day 😵💫

My hometown is Cavite City, so my advice for first timers who want to enjoy the water festival or Regada, it's common that the people their put soaps on the people that joining the festival and ofcourse expect to be sprinkled by any type of water, like cold water, dip well water or water mix with color so its advisable to where black. I'm sorry if your shocked but to avoid being wiped by a someone with a soap you should spot them first or be alert or dont walk on the center of the street, but most people putting soap on face are targeting the pretty girls thats why they spotted you. Be careful also since their so many people some would take advantage on the crowd and may touch you inappropriately, just always be cautious. Anyways, thank you for the sportmanship and goodluck on you next contents ! ❤

You should go to Angono Rizal this coming November. Higantes festival and the feast of St. Clement.. patron of the fishermen. So much history going on there. Almost the same with regada festival but with more historical background.
Jessica is really having a good time. Ako kinakabahan sa kanya kasi baka may lokong mang hipo etc. Good thing ok naman lahat and wala naman gumawa ng ganun. Good job Jes for being a good sport and just going with the flow. Was smiling through out most of the video.

We have the same festival in our town Balayan Batangas every 24th of June called "Parada ng lechon" and Basaan as well. It's fun and i hope you can able to visit here.
we have the same Buhusan festival in Quezon during Easter Sunday. The only difference is that in Quezon there story behind the festivities and people never disrespects anyone, never smudges you on the face with something or touch your body anywhere. very disrespectful
Alin diyan yung masaya tipong basaan festival dapat pero nagkakahipuan sa mukha hahaha kadiri suggestion mo mas maganda balik food nalang tapos food culture.
@@charmmercado7765 I agree, you know guys it's too uncomfortable even though I'm a filipino, imagine strangers will touch your face just like that? jeez
I lived in Cavite City before ( I mean from 0 to 25 years of my life), when Somebody touches your face at he regada, it means youre good looking. My brother 15 years ago literally looks like Lestat the vampire had his face touched by young fenales a lot of times from McDonald's ( were not even at the sprinklers yet) all the way to San Roque Church. His face was filled with soap literally and food coloring ( yeah they use that too).
You should really come to Cebu in January and experience Sinulog. We have street dancing and the Mardi Gras during the day. Then the entire city parties at night.
That's not fucking normal. I haven't experienced that. I'm from Cavite and I don't think it's fine. It was kinda rude to be honest. I was too stunned to speak too. I'm so sorry Jessica for that experience. I hope you still enjoyed the fiesta despite of those upsetting events,
kaluoy pud uy...na culture shock..but good thing she's a good sport...we just treasure your vlog that shows how you are seeing, adjusting and adopting to our culture...keep on giving smiles to your subscribers Jessica.
wow thank you Jessica for absolutely showing us what goes on in a Regada festival. I will never attend this festival ever 😂 the people just casually touching your face like that???? it's a big NO for me.
I've been to similar festivals in Balayan Batangas and Lucban Quezon where people splashes everyone with water but they still refrain from touching people. I don't know why they do it there in Cavite. It looks kind of inappropriate to me. It seems like it's just an excuse for drunk men to touch young girls. It's borderline molestation.
At their core, festivals are about celebrating life’s joys, whether it’s a season, a historical event, or a religious occasion, and this brings happiness to participants.

So cute naman ni Jeshicaaaa!! 🥹💕
Ingit k Kasi gusto mo Ikaw rin mka hipo... Thinkers doers...😂😂😂😂
@@davidgochioco1097 haha di kaya ikaw yung inggit? Sabi mo thinkers doers eh... 🤣😂😆

That looks fun tho❤i love it. Masaya jan talga❤i like your sportsmanship. People love you❤😊
We have the same festival in our town Balayan Batangas every 24th of June called "Parada ng lechon" and Basaan as well. It's fun and i hope you can able to visit here.

napa Korean tuloy magsalita si ate jess 🙊😂😂
we have the same Buhusan festival in Quezon during Easter Sunday. The only difference is that in Quezon there story behind the festivities and people never disrespects anyone, never smudges you on the face with something or touch your body anywhere. very disrespectful
Whew, what a festival,, its fun... Thank you be safe, bless you.
Hey Jessica, pls do more Ph festival vlogs. You should have a segment like this more often bec ph festivals are back!
Tawang tawa ako pagiging marites ni Jessica. Hinihila na sya ng pd pero go pa rin ahahahahaa
So there is water/soap festival 😂😂😂 Cheers to your adventurous spirit! Such a trouper! More power to you! 🎉🎉🎉
That's not fucking normal. I haven't experienced that. I'm from Cavite and I don't think it's fine. It was kinda rude to be honest. I was too stunned to speak too. I'm so sorry Jessica for that experience. I hope you still enjoyed the fiesta despite of those upsetting events,
my hometown, heheh!! im glad that you came here ate jessica 💗
🤣🤣 she really just took the shot no hesitation 😂💀
Jessica, your awesome, marvelous, & relatable a real person. Just be safe and well, take extra precausion.
Jessica, you're so awesome. I love watching your videos. You're really cool. ❤😊
I feel sorry for jessica😭
Whyyy did heee doo that😭😭
kaluoy pud uy...na culture shock..but good thing she's a good sport...we just treasure your vlog that shows how you are seeing, adjusting and adopting to our culture...keep on giving smiles to your subscribers Jessica.
wow thank you Jessica for absolutely showing us what goes on in a Regada festival. I will never attend this festival ever 😂 the people just casually touching your face like that???? it's a big NO for me.
no hate tho it's just not for me 😅 kung trip mo to edi gow
saaaame i feel like im gonna throw a fit if ever someone touches my face like that
I've been to similar festivals in Balayan Batangas and Lucban Quezon where people splashes everyone with water but they still refrain from touching people. I don't know why they do it there in Cavite. It looks kind of inappropriate to me. It seems like it's just an excuse for drunk men to touch young girls. It's borderline molestation.
ikr! BIG NOOO ill ended up chasing that person and smack her/him on the face like wtf?
@@uncleiroh4516 cringe
At their core, festivals are about celebrating life’s joys, whether it’s a season, a historical event, or a religious occasion, and this brings happiness to participants.
As an introvert this seems like a nightmare to me, but much milder than sinulog lol.
