Easily the best MAFEX figure to date. Also, top 10 greatest action figure of all- time.
He was. But over the last few months we have got Cyborg Superman, Steel and Magneto comic book figs as well. Things are just getting better. Mafex are on a roll!
@@cookedit I have all those and none gave me the same excitement as Gambit.
Top tier 1/12 figure. My only real detraction from this is that the lower legs are slightly too long. The thicker swooping card and energy effect could have benefited from being much lighter in weight too as it takes some finagling to get looking good. Would love to see Mafex do a Nightcrawler or Colossus soon.
Yeah, that thicker swoosh effect is so annoying. I do hope we see a Rogue somewhere down the line.

I grew up on the X-Men cartoon....out of all of marvel... Gambit is my favorite out of the marvel universe
For the price I wish these where 11"
Pretty sure I got the last retail copy in my country. So far I love it, though my guys head seems a little floppy, as in it doesn't move the neck when you turn it, not sure what happened but it holds a pose, and I just fixed it now by flipping the neck peg. The only real QC issue I've had now is the wire on his collar came poking out too, but was a pretty easy fix, though not as easy as you'd think, even the soft goods are tight.

I pulled the trigger on eBay and paid 175 USD including shipping
I bought the reissue a while back, unfortunately it came with a lose torso that I couldn’t even pose it, I had to put plastic around the joint to make it tighter, it worked but I don’t like how Mafex fíes their quality control, they should really improve that

Speaking of Mafex, I'd love to see you review any of their Iron Man figures... there's even a bunch of them coming out soon like the MK 50, Rescue and an "I Am Iron Man" battle damaged MK 85!
I do have the Endgame Final Battle version.
