This episode/video should have *a lot* more views. Scores of people are unwittingly missing the keys outlined within - to escaping the conventional path that most are brainwashed into following; in lieu of finding true purpose and fulfillment.
I think the *scariest* thing on earth is not a wild bear or lion (etc.). It is, rather, ending up in the suburbs of Chicago, in a Chilis or Applebees as Brent did, because of a dead-end job…and not realizing there is more fo life than a “9-5” and a white picket fence. Glad Brent realized it…and we should ALL realize…life is about finding your “ghost town”!!

The fire-dependant species of pine Ryan speaks of around the 1:10:00 mark is most likely Pinus contorta. Its seeds are activated by fire - the heat melts the resin that locks the cone together ,in a process broadly called pyriscence.

6 degrees of Kevin Bacon, Brent as a boy playing w my kids and seeing him on the Daily Stoic. Brent having a long time and clearly a close relationship w Ryan is pretty cool.

Daily Stoic does WAY too much talking in this. I'm 34 minutes in and I'm STILL waiting to hear this guy talk about why he bought a ghost town.

You should leave the acknowledgment in because it is only your ego that is telling you that perhaps you should remove it just because your view of that person has changed. One’s perception of another should not undo one’s contribution.
That’s what I’ve learned from reading your book 😂😂😂

it/s hard to believe anything either of you two say, especially when you compare yourself to Edison for burning down a historic building.. and then also claim that that's a memorable part of the history. "ahh yes the great fire of 2020. when no one was there and I burnt down the hotel and history Im trying to preserve

This host is soooo annoying. He needs to let his guests talk. The host just keeps bringing the conversation back to himself.

I don't always comment, but when I do, it's on videos like this.
