Nanami gave everything to protect people. The last fight scene really showed his heart and resolve. An unbelievably kind and strong man. His last moments encouraging Yuji "you've got it from here", he meant that. Hurts losing him, but he died with dignity and without fear.
However, the late Nanami almost cursed his own fate and cursed the fate of his late friend towards the end of his life...
@@fikarrusdiawan9562 And because of it Mahito was defeated. Nanami had faith in Yuji. He doesn't view him as a child anymore, he views him as a friend he can trust. He sees Haibara in him.
Nanami, the one who tried protecting all the children in the Jujutsu World… This is so sad man..

@@shaynethegmann You could argue that to every part of the episode (I still disagree.) every part but Nanami's last moment, since he appeared walking at the beach until he died, it was very well animated and you are just either blind, ungrateful or just repeating what ppl said if you think this

To see nanami still stuggle to kill the curses even at the brink of death while transitioning him to being at the beach free was beautiful with this ost.
What he slaughtered was actually a transfigured human who had become a cannibal who preyed on fellow humans. Then, the sorcerers did not kill the cursed spirits but eradicated them.
I honestly had a hard time watching. It was too painful to see a half-dead man continue fighting.

I teared up but I didn’t sob. I kinda felt comforted? Seeing him move so gracefully while fighting his last fight simultaneously kind of made me okay with seeing him go. He’s done more than enough, it is sad though, he was one of my favourites

Watched this episode yesterday and I was *not* ready for Nanami's death scene to be this heartbreaking (as much as it was in the manga when I first read it)

This is the beauty of jjk. Jjk gives a very cruel yet important life lesson. Nanami died while thinking of going to Malaysia but mei mei escaped to Malaysia soon after shibuya got too dangerous. But people know who the real great is. Rest easy nanami you earned hearts of millions.

I listened to this before I watched the episode and thought it was good. Then after I binged the entire JJK season 2, and now listening to it again, it hits me differently with all the feels. I couldn't stop crying. And I still get choked up after listening to it (for the 100th time).

This piano piece really made the episode for me. Just magical. I was just as tired, just as on that beach in Malaysia with him. This was just brilliant and I don't think the writer will get the credit they deserve for this one.

When i seen his death in the manga i wasn't really sad, yeah it was bad what happened but i was just so focused on seeing yuji beat the shi out of mahito to really care. But when i saw how they done his death in the anime i actually teared up and slammed my desk, wishing the worst on mahito, they really done a great job with the animation of him on the beach and this soundtrack

It's crazy when you realize how young he and other sorcerer's still were. He was surprisingly... only 28 man. I'm 24 myself so I still have a few years, but it puts it into perspective. He was originally gonna be a villain... but damn, if he wasn't one of the most well written characters in a good few years. Rest well nanamin. Rest well.

Well, Nanami is my one and only fav character in JJK series. In fact, I love all characters that was and being voiced by the one and only, Tsuda Kenjiro. I miss nanami so damn much.
