Forgot to add text to the start, but what I meant to write was: No Tails on the title screen Nevermind, I actually wrote that already, but I forgot to erase the 'Add text here' text Other information you might want to know: The ROM header of this proto is the same as the Sonic 2 Nick Arcade proto, making it more obvious that this is just a ROM hack of said proto. The Sega chant has a crackle sound at the end.
I know lol; just a minor editing mistake I overlooked lol; just ignore the fact that it's there lol BTW I use Clipchamp as it's pretty decent for a simple video editor
@@aronjimenez9867 The Nick Arcade prototype is likely dated before May 25th 1992, as Metropolis Zone's artwork was completed on that date, but this prototype doesn't have Metropolis Zone at all.
@@NarutoUzumaki-tr6ir Hmm, let's see here: Both title screens have no Tails, however in the autodemo, Sonic is shown holding up two fingers, and his other hand is behind the ribbon. Both of them have Sonic 1-like sprites for Sonic. Both of them start with a grassy level.
So that's fake? I have a Genesis emulator for android and when I try to open the Rom of the game it says sega, and then farts. In the nick arkade prototype there was hill top
@@TheRealJadenPlayz There is something similar called the 1991 lost Sonic 2 prototype, which is just an EXE game but Sonic gets oofed instead of Tails, and Tails is the evil one instead of Sonic. He is named Tails.ZIP as a counterpart of Sonic.EXE.

Pretty cool😎 but weird🤨
@harrisonjackson5865 Yeah I agree; this ROM hack is really weird
nice
the crackle is caused due to not enough space being used
@@caramelcupcakes842 Really? I didn't know that! Thanks for letting me know!

@@wardengamer374have you tried capcut?
I could honestly see this being real due to sonic 2 being directly built off of sonic 1.
Spike glitch, everything.
As far as my knowledge goes, this rom hack was made specifically for an arg named sonic unseen archives 2 or 3 years ago or smth
Yeah I've seen the video of that already
this game feels like an april fools game
yeah i can kind of agree with that
I believe that video almost got into my birthdat on a 25th though but love it to see some Unused Games for sonic ya play!
"Add your text here" goes crazy
this is honestly a pretty good bootleg
This look like a prototype before added tails or Japanese version. I see this old Sonic 2 hud before. Also Musics of Sonic 1.
It does, and it seems to be mostly accurate for a ROM hack trying to replicate a pre-Nick Arcade prototype.
Even though the nick arcade was late december 1991 or early febuary 1992

fun fact:
emerald hill act 3 is actully just a buggy act 1
when sonic went down at the 1st loop, why did the game use the unused sprites for S1?
Because the ROM hacker used the wrong sprites, I guess
@@wardengamer374 do you wanna discuss about this?

Yes it is fake. It is just a ROM hack of the Nick Arcade prototype.
omg its me
How did you got into the stage select? (I use retroarch mobile for android)
I just pressed Up, Down Down Down, Up, and Z + Enter (A + Start). I use Kega Fusion.
How are you getting the title screen to load? It doesn’t work for me.
I'm not sure how. I am the lucky one I guess.
In proto palis Sonics running sprite is broken
It's broken everywhere. He walks so fast and shakily
Nice!
hi
i was here
I beat green hill zone.
Nice!
Is there any blood in this!?
No. This is not an EXE game lol
@wardengamer374 it needs to be one
