I was just thinking the same thing, expecting something Gibson-esque into something Marshall-esque or Orange, and it’s a Strat body in a Fender amp, and it’s muddy as hell and I loved it!
You guys nailed the way everyone lays back into the groove. Everyone I see playing it kind of loses the sludge groove. Spectacular job! Rock on!

Sabbath was my 1st concert, about 72 at the Forum in LA. They were the 2nd act before Grand Funk, J. Geils opened (as I recall). About 5 minutes into their set I turned to my homeboy Gil and said, "These dudes are pretty good!"
I feel sorry for kids these days, but am super grateful I came up in the time I did.

If I could add one comment, the vocals are really really good, and it might just be my ears, but on the record Ozzy seemed to have a little delay echo in his vocals. If you added just a bit of delay on your voice, I don’t think I could tell the difference between you and the record. Again…really well done!
